These are by far the sickest bindings I have ever ridden. They are super comfortable, thanks to thick cushy heel straps and the toe/cap straps. I use them as cap straps. The new relay technology makes them uber responsive at slow speeds as well as at mach 5. The increased lateral movement increases not only the comfort level but also makes these bindings no-brainer for park and pipe riding. I wear a size 11.5 thirty-two ultralight boot, the size L binding fit almost perfectly, especially considering the binding is not necessarily designed to work with other manufacturers boots. Anyways, what I'm saying here is, drop the dough, get these bindings, you'll love 'em!!

Alright pair of bindings, somewhat disappointing though. Paired with salomon synapse wide boots.

Even though the toe strap is considered adjustable, if used as a toe cap it is always slipping. The stitching is pretty weak after only 4 times out you can see it was getting worn out at places.

After the 4th time the heel cup snapped and I had to get em warrantied.

Comments about Salomon Relay Pro Snowboard Bindings 2009:

I rode these all last year and held up fairly good. Also i rode over 100 days last year. What i thought was so great was the healcup, it is soft, but very responsive. What i did not like so much was that I bought a large thinking that it would fit my size ten boot. But it was too big. I would buy binding if you have a size 10.5 or bigger. But over all i thought it was a very good binding in the park.

Ive taken these out 4 times this year and my only complaint is that the toe strap has a hard time latching when you get snow in it, but once its latched or you clear it out its good. I love the fact that the toe strap doesn't totally come undone and that it doesn't use hard plastic to hold the back up.

Comments about Salomon Relay Pro Snowboard Bindings 2009:

I have the Relay Pros paired with some malamute boots. The two pair together really well with a stiffness in the boot and lots of lateral flexibility in the binding. Zero pressure points. The binder straps only ratchet to required tightness (this took some getting use to as I would usually tighten the straps of previous bindings until they were super tight, basically cutting off blood flow). Bindings come with adjustable baseplate pads, like binding insoles that give you some more cushion between your boot and the baseplate. I am still trying to dial in my stance as you can angle the highbacks independantly of the binding / baseplate. The bad thing is both Salomon items have some weak stiching, and have already began to lose aesthetic quality, as well as the binding becomes difficult to release when wet heavy snow compacts inside release (typical of most ratcheting straps).

Great product, rugged, strong, overall a great buy for the money! Im an intermediate snowboarder and this was my first year using all my own gear. These bindings surpassed my expectations. Great for novice & intermideate riders, and amazing for the price.

The large teeth for the ratches make it quick to tighten these bindings. I think they call it fast fit. The straps are comfortable and I don't experience any pinch points. The only negative that I can think of is that the graphics have a "Saved by the Bell" with Zach Morris coloring going on... Overall, happy with the bindings.
