Comments about Salomon Grace Snowboard Bindings - Women's 2011:

Love this binding. Easy entry and release and nice always strapped toe straps makes a little bit of boot packing easier. Great for pow and steep mountain riding. Easy to set up and adjust to propper boot size.

Comments about Salomon Grace Snowboard Bindings - Women's 2011:

I bought these bindings at the beginning of the season and have ~15 days using them now. Overall they have performed well for the price, but they do have some flaws.

First, the good: I have not had any issues with them releasing inappropriately, straps slipping off, or the bindings loosening. They are also generally in great shape at this point, without any obvious wear. They are wide enough for my Vans boots, which are too wide for some other bindings, and I have not noticed any pressure points.

And now the bad: I find the toe strap not releasing all the way to be more of a hindrance than a help for me. I have to twist my foot to get it out of the bindings without catching the toe strap, which is annoying and sometimes bothers my knee. The toe strap rachet can also be sticky, and I experience significant difficulty releasing it at least once a day. This is becoming more frequent the longer I use the bindings (even though I do not overtighten them). Although the adjustability is reasonable I've also found that these don't play as well with my new board as I would like, resulting in some issues with too much heel overhang even though my boots are not very large relative to the board.

The bottom line is that these are a solid binding with a few flaws that will probably be enough to make me replace them at the end of this season. They are a good choice for a beginner or someone who rides relatively infrequently, but are probably not a good fit for a more advanced or aggressive rider. You should also be sure you like the lack of a full toe-strap release if you choose to buy these.
