Rossignol Cobra V1 Snowboard Bindings 2011 – These guys are lean and mean, just like their namesake. The Rossignol Cobra V1 Snowboard Bindings are tough enough to handle the biggest drops and gnarliest landings and their HC-X baseplate and Integral Impact pads smooth out even the roughest terrain.
Baseplates
The HC-X 18 (Heel-Cup extruded hollow technology) baseplate is lighter, stronger, better and faster made from Nylon® composite and fiberglass baseplate with an adjustable 6082 T6 aluminum E.H.T. heelcup that’s 50% more responsive with 20% less weight and a tool-free adjustable gas pedal, including an 18% glass fiber ration with mid torsion resistance for more comfort.
Straps
The 3D HS-FI Straps offer awesome comfort, support, and style with an anatomic 3D shape, DUPONTTM Hytrel® reinforcement with thermoformed complex EVA padding, PU leather and suede exterior, tool-free length adjuster with an extension loop, and a convertible toe strap.
Highbacks
The I-Back Light Hi-Back is lightweight, offering plenty of support and comfort with Anti-Shock Nylon®, anti-abrasion high-impact thermoformed EVA padding, a tool-free forward lean adjuster, and a rotation adjuster.
Additional Features
The die-cast aluminum buckles are easy engaging, provide ultra fast gearing and a smooth releasing system, and the integral impact pads provide 3 zones of compression thermoformed EVA on the heel, foot arch and toe, along with a progressive toe ramp for full cushion and great board feel.

good bindings overall, high-backs could be a bit more stiff they shift side to side in a easy manner, very stable a responsive, toe strap is not completely a toe strap it comes over the toes easily, other than that they perform good and i have not had the breakage problem from the other reviews this bindings are very sturdy at the heel cup and footing, so far i dig them,i'm a snowboard instructor so i use them in a lot of different terrains and sometimes in the park

Went through two different sets of theses binding with in one year! First break was first time I ever used them on the hill, they covered under the one year warranty, and they set me some news. First set sheared the based plate of the binding, and the second set the center to the base to the heel cup broke. Warranty is based on the when you bought the first pair. Never buying anything from Rossignol again!!

Comments about Rossignol Cobra V1 Snowboard Bindings 2011:

I made the switch from my Burton Diode ESTs and haven't looked back. I used to have problems with my feet cramping and never thought switching the my binding could make the difference. The Cobra has super comfortable straps and a fully padded, cushy bottom. If your looking for a high performing, comfortable binding, this is the binding for you.

Great solid bindings. Only complaint is in trying to adjust the heelcup. I had to use a socket wrench with a screwdriver bit to get the right angle.

Comments about Rossignol Cobra V1 Snowboard Bindings 2011:

I am a beginner, but for someone that knew nothing about snowboarding a month ago, these bindings were easy to install (5 min) and the high back and heel were easy enough to adjust. For [$] you really can't beat these for price/performance. They do what they're supposed to do on the slopes without any problems. Compared to rentals, being able to custom fit your setup makes a world of difference.

These bindings are super adjustable. All of the adjustments that matter (straps, forward lean) are tool free. Great value in a well thought out binding design. Rip hard. Save money.

Used these bindings for 3 days in Utah so far.
This is a simple, no frills binding. It's light weight. Some care needs to be taken when installing, the base plate angle seems to be able to shift if you are not careful. Also, the high back lean is not the quickest thing to adjust. You will need to spend some time with this binding to adjust it prior to putting it on the board. Overall, an average binding that I found on sale for a good price.

I got these b/c others had rated them well. The price was unbelievable on Evo. I think I got them for around $70 bucks! I've only used them a few times but have had no problems at all. They are also lightweight and comfortable.
