Comments about Rome MiniShred Snowboard Bindings - Youth 2013:

These bindings are very adjustable to fit little feet. The directions lack detailing these features, but if you look closely you will see that the toe bindings will move in and out to fit your child's foot length, and the main strap a can be adjusted shorter for a tighter fit on little feet. I bought these for my 5 and 6 year old boys and once I figured out all the adjustments they worked fantastic. I paired them with the rome minishred boards 90cm and 100cm!! Highly recommend!

Comments about Rome MiniShred Snowboard Bindings - Youth 2013:

Bought these for my 4 year old son. The toe binding was almost impossible for him to get out of, but the ankle was fine. The angle of entrance when putting the toe on was difficult for him to do as well.

It might be that they are brand so not sure if they will loosen up with use or not.

They were very easy to mount and he never complained about them being uncomfortable, he had fun today!

Fits my 5 year old very well even with size 1 boots. He can even strap himself in and out and this is his first snowboard and bindings.

Comments about Rome MiniShred Snowboard Bindings - Youth 2013:

Good beginner binding for the kids. Straps and latches are a little tight and makes it little harder for the kids to get in and out, but it should loosen up with time.

Overall, good beginner binding for the little snowboarders.

Comments about Rome MiniShred Snowboard Bindings - Youth 2013:

I Also picked the the matching Mini Shred board to go with the bindings. My 5 year old is on Burton Grom single straps that he will grow out of soon. These bindings look identical to the rome shift a price point binding for beginners i don't see any issues with them when he is old enough we will move to a better binding. My wife used shifts when she was starting out and liked them, they are soft with ok straps and good buckles. These are diffnetly not my 390's but their is not a lot of choices for kids. I have been a fan of Rome for 3 or 4 years now with no issues they warranty dept is top notch when you break a strap.

            .

Comments about Rome MiniShred Snowboard Bindings - Youth 2013:

My daughter tried these out and we found them pretty disappointing. Adjusting the straps is difficult. The bindings feel poorly made. The plates aren't well thought out and don't interface well.

However, the step-in mechanism seems to work pretty well and once you get them all set up I think they are pretty comfortable. They aren't as stiff as I would have thought.
