Comments about Rome Madison Boss Snowboard Bindings - Women's 2013:
I purchased these for my wife after my own experience with the 390 Boss. Basically everything I loved about the 390 Boss binding is true here. Ratchets are high quality and almost everything can be adjusted without tools on the hill. I also wanted to comment on a few details about these bindings. Most descriptions for these do not mention the canting footbeds, but these have the exact same canting options as the 390 Boss (0,2,3.5 degrees). Also, the pictures of these show the older style toe strap, but these come with the newer (and better) ConformGrip strap (again the same as the 390 Boss). I could never get the Unions to fit my wife's boots perfectly, but these are so adjustable it was no problem. She was doubtful she would feel a difference, but even just standing on them she could feel a noticeable difference.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This binding is almost too customizable. It translates energy to the board well, and can be adjusted to feet your feet perfectly. What's not to love?
Female specific 390 Boss
This review is based more on my experiences with Rome's 390 boss than the Madison itself. After falling for the 390 boss, the canting footbeds, straps and adjustability, I picked up a pair of these for my wife's board for this coming winter. The real reason for this review is to clarify a few things on this binding. This really is the 390 Boss but with a different highback. In the pictures and the literature, it describes them having the older EVA "conformist" toe strap. I was surprised when I opened the box to find that it actually has the newer (and better) "ConformGrip" toe strap as seen on the 390 Boss (the one with a rubbery X). Also, while not listed in the product description, as a "Boss" model it comes with adjustable canting pads (0, 2, 3.5 degree) just like the 390 Boss. With a different highback from the 390 series, these seem to have a tiny bit more forward lean than the 390 series (which have very little until you really crank them forward). Great binding, worth the price. They can take longer than some others to get dialed in, but that's because they are more adjustable than most bindings.

These bindings are great; however the toe straps stretch very easily (after only day of riding). After they stretched it produced some pressure points on the toes.
