Product Info

Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither were the Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Bindings. Finally, the construction of the 390s has been perfected to be the kind of bindings that will take your riding to the next level and never stop. Built with a medium flex that is responsive and stable for slashing lines and stomping jumps yet friendly enough for open-to-close park laps. The V-Rod Baseplate enhances your board's performance due to its minimal footprint, encouraging a natural and even flex profile with improved response and pop. Where you go and what tricks you throw with the Rome 390 Boss Bindings are for you to decide, but trust that the possibilities are endless.

I bought these bindings new and paired them with my GNU Carbon Credit board. Installation was incredibly easy-if you have a Phillips head, you're good to go. It took me 10 minutes to get then on the board and adjusted just how I like them. They even throw in a free set of 2.5° canted footbeds if that's more your style. As far as looks, they're super cool. I ordered the "Bone" color, which is an off-white/red color combo and it looks fantastic, but more importantly, they feel very solid. The metal base is super sturdy, and the highbacks are just flexy enough for the beginner-intermediate rider who's hitting groomers and even some mild jumps. The straps ratchet down quick and easy, and are pretty much infinitely adjustable which is awesome. You get strapped in firmly, but your feet never feel overly pressured or anything. Very comfortable. And if that's not enough good news about the 390 Boss, Arbor gives you a lifetime warranty on the bindings-free of charge. So, for those looking for their first serious set of bindings to ride all over the mountain, these should definitely be at the top of the list.

Rode one full day, so far very happy with the purchase. They are incredibly adjustable in so many ways, you can spend hours making fine adjustments for a custom fit. Best attribute was their comfort when riding, felt like riding on clouds, even when stomping and carving hard turns. No longer do i feel that outer-leg burn, these bindings work with you. Very supportive, super easy tightening straps on the fly, and the Autotech strap feature is a sweet bonus. Pads are like pillows, no pressure points what so ever. Components are high quality, hardware is bombproof. So far, I'm disappointed in the tool free forward lean adjuster, even though it is convenient that it can be adjusted on the mountain in a jiffy, the system feels a bit junky, but mainly I am bummed about the levels of lean it offers, as I feel it doesn't come close to how far forward I would like it to lean. Maybe I'm wrong??? But I compared them to my old Solomon binding's and my old pair leaned much further forward. I want that forward lean for better control between heel to toe side transitions, I have a wide, squatted stance, which asks for a higher forward lean. I just switched to the Yes I Can't 2.5% Inbed canting footbed, I'm excited to try it out, supposedly gives more power and control, especially for rocker boards, and eases pressure on the knees. They are also on the heavy side, but a good trade for high quality components, I didn't notice their weight when riding, but you probably will if you ride park a lot, which I don't. Cool colors as well. Toe strap works great both over toes or on top of toes.

Comments about Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Bindings 2016:

Hands down the most adjustable bindings on the market; fine-tunability disseminates to exact board feel, super cushy straps like sealing your boots into a bomb proof jello mold, combined with power steering response, and a lifetime manufacturer warranty! Added bonus: they have colorways to match practically any steez...or black. They may be a bit heavier than some of the all plastic construction bindings out there, but not enough to distract from the glowing list of pros for this product.

Good bindings, but check for fit at the fringe boot sizes

Comments about Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Bindings 2016:

These are the first bindings I've purchased, so my review is from noobie experience. The only size available were the L/XL and I wear a size 9 Burton boot. The 9 was at the bottom end of the fit for the L/XL binding, so I figured it would be fine. Problem is that the toe straps are maxed out at tightened, and one of them continues to come off during runs. So they're a tad too long for 9 boots, at least for my boots.
Overall I'd say they are decent bindings. They were easy to set up and adjust, and the straps do seem well built. I would recommend to a friend, just caution on the sizing.

Comments about Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Bindings 2016:

These bindings are a bit on the heavy side but that also makes them feel way durable. They've got a ton of adjustability and most of the small adjustments can be made on the mountain without tools. They straps don't feel cheap and plasticy and they get a solid hold on your boots. The name says it all, these are boss.

Comments about Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Bindings 2016:

great looking matte black finish on mine. The softer tip bind gets a little heavy and stays wet for a day or so after boarding but overall they are nice solid bindings. love the all the customization possible and it even comes with an additional 2.5degree footpad.

These bindings are perfect for my all mountain board. Have only used once so far but can tell these were made to last. Flex is perfect if you like to freeride and hit the park from time to time. Great price for a great binding and will certainly look to buy Rome products in the future. Evo was also amazing in helping me decide on a pair of bindings. Customer service was exceptional and shipping was fast. I won't be looking anywhere but evo. Thanks guy, keep up the good work!
