Product Info

Step it up a notch with the all-mountain Rome 390 Snowboard Bindings. A medium flex profile allows for the perfect combination of flexibility, power, and playfulness to take your riding anywhere from big backcountry powder slashing to stomping sketchy urban rail features. Rome s OpenForm Toe Strap design has gotten rid of excess toe strap material and created two straps that directs stability to the two places that need it most, over the top and around the front for comfort and stability. With a new forward lean adjustment the 390 will take your riding to the next level so you can start dropping those casual roof tops to kinked rails with ease.

Product Details

Flex

Medium FlexThe 390 has the perfect combination of playfulness and power. This medium flex gives you the power you need for freeriding and the flexibility you want for freestyle.

Baseplate

V-Rod BaseplateA V-shaped baseplate with a "rod" of edge-to-edge contact limits the binding's footprint on the board, which delivers three things: natural board flex, greater binding flexibility side-to-side, and full power from toe to heel. You get the perfect blend of flex with pop.

SubBase V-PadPartnered with the V-Rod baseplate, the 3D profile of the EVA and rubber sub-base pad fills the lifted corners of the baseplate, creating cushioning for the smoothest side-to-side flex while allowing for a dampening barrier between the baseplate and topsheet.

InBase PadFully redesigned footbed made from a piece of preformed EVA with cushioning in the heel and under the ball of the foot. Customizable with one channel screw connecting the footbed to the baseplate for quick adjustments.

Straps

Contour Ankle StrapThe support and comfort of Rome's Contour Ankle Strap is unmatched by any other and solidifies its versatility in flex for all types of shred. New temperature-resistant materials enhance the fit and comfort.

OpenForm Toe StrapThis lightweight strap grabs the bottom and top of the boot for maximum hold and stability with minimal pressure and open coverage.

Highback

390 Asym HighbackErgonomically designed for seamless response, the 390 is slightly canted to the inside, designed to flex your board and boot. Perfect for both open-to-close park days or long backcountry trips.

This is my first time purchasing snowboard equipment. Shipping was great and arrive on time. This item is great, works as intended but it took a lot of time to figure it out for the first time user. There were no instructions. For example, the padding had to be removed so that the plate can be installed. There were no instructions on how to remove the padding. I had to guess that the screw (at heal side) had to be unscrewed. Also, the back of the binding that support lower side of the calves is adjustable. Again, no instructions, but I figured it out. Once I had got it adjusted, it felt great! I love these bindings! They just need instructions for newcomers.

At first i was rly excited about these bindings. nice look, realy comfy, big ankle straps and very easy to adjust...maybe a little to easy. the 1st day i used them i noticed after i got to the line up my forward foot felt a little loose....the toe strap had come undone from the adjustment clamp! luckly the ratchet held and i didnt lose the strap and the ankle stap was thick enough to hold my foot in so it didint make me fall out, but atleast once a day i notice this happening.

Comments about Rome 390 Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Easy adjustability with a price. The straps on the binding can be easily adjusted on the mountain, but they have come undone on me a few times which is no bueno. The clips just flip back and the strap completely loosens when you're trying to stomp your line. Other than that they are pretty dope. A little on the heavy side, but overall a great buy. Ratchet them down as tight as you want and they are still comfortable with no pinch points.

Comments about Rome 390 Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Very solid bindings with great padding and adjustability. That said, they can be kind of a pain to actually adjust. This design is definitely a step up from last year, but I still hate blindly trying to thread the screw in the footpad when I'm cold or in a hurry. Not a deal breaker, but something they can definitely improve on.

Just tried out the Rome 390s this week, took a nasty spill and my bindings ended up turning about 30 degrees a piece. I installed the bindings on my own, so it could have been my fault that they weren't on tight enough. Otherwise the bindings work great and stay snug.

Comments about Rome 390 Snowboard Bindings 2014:

The width of the L/XL binding in the toe strap is about 2mm too narrow to fit 13 size boot (Adidas Samba). Next step for me is to bend the places where the toe strap connect to the binding and it will fit just right. I used a hotel key card to slide and squeeze the boot sole rubber to fit.
Otherwise, they are very comfortable and adjustable bindings.

I'm new to the sport and got the board and bindings for Christmas. I installed the bindings and found that a lot of adjustments were in order. Now these are really comfortable and very easy to get out of. Adjusting them until they were just right made a huge difference in comfort so take the time to do it. Now they're perfect.

The extra cushioning in the bed of the bindings came in handy after bruising some ribs!! The bindings worked flawlessly and the padding in the bed took a lot of shock out of some rough riding!!! Definitely love these bindings and would recommend!!

These are one of my favorite bindings i have ridden. they are some of the most comfortable bindings ive had and definitely the most adjustable. a variety of different settings to fit the needs of any rider. I typically ride back country, woods, and powder and they fit me perfectly. the one downside i have found is they seem to be a little on the heavier side. not a deal breaker at all as i plan to ride these for as long as they make them. It helps they come with a lifetime warranty as well. overall a great product
