Excellent bindings. Light weight, aluminum construction and awesome looking added to its wonderfulness. Best things I like:

1. Rubber toe straps can be used to fit the front of your boots as toe straps, or as regular straps. Choice is yours.
2. Easy on and easy off. 90% of time just pull the strap without looking, and it goes in directly! Pull the release slightly and it comes off without using force. Awesome!
3. Rubber cushion base piece added installation tightness and it won't leave mark on your board!

A little down side:

I wear size 11.5 boots on these bindings size 11-13. It seems a little too wide and my boots could move very slightly when strapped. Not affecting performance though.

I bought these binding after doing bindings research for a month or so.
The reasons why I bought the Ride Beta MVMNT Snowboard Bindings 2009 over others are:
uniqueness, price, personality, material, durability and color.
Although I haven't get a chance use them yet, reason why I gave this item 3 stars, because I couldn't hit the mountains as much as I would like last season, here are my first impressions.
Pros:
These Bindings are very eye catching.
They felt true to size when tried on with my Nitro boots.
In "general" they seem to have a great durable construction.
Cons:
These Bindings are a little bit heavy due to their frame durable construction.
They are only available in two colors Blue and Hot Pink.
I have some concerns with the toe straps because they are made of soft rubber and at times they seem kind of flimsy and stretchy.
Once the next season is in town I would update my review for better or worse.

Comments about Ride Beta MVMNT Snowboard Bindings 2009:

They aren't bad, they're solid bindings, aluminum base though, they weren't super light. Kind of wanted them to have the new wedgie insole thing. The straps on these were pretty good, the ladder rachets straps might need to be replaced soon. Sometimes they pop when racheting, but I got over 50 days on them in colorado.

Comments about Ride Beta MVMNT Snowboard Bindings 2009:

I've been a long-time fan of Ride bindings. Most folks think that aluminum bindings are heavier than poly-based ones, but that's not true. In fact, when weighed side-by-side, the Ride bindings come out lighter most of the time. Not only are these bindings very dependable, but they're also very light. The color complements my 2009 Atomic Alibi snowboard-base.Ride customer service is also top-notch. I had to order a set of straps b/c of rubbing against my boot lace holders -- and they promptly sent not just 1, but 2 straps!Ride on and rock on!

Can use this binding anywhere for anything! Dont even notice your strapped in with the webbed tow straps.

The only complaint I had is that its kinda a pain to get strapped in without the tow strap biting into your boot. But once you get it set right your good to go!

Comments about Ride Beta MVMNT Snowboard Bindings 2009:

This was my first time using a binding made by ride. I have always used either Burtons high end bindings or Romes. I was surprised by how lightwieght and flexible they were. The only think I don't like about them are the fact that the ankle straps are kinda poorly made. They are already starting to tear. Besides that, I love them!!

Comments about Ride Beta MVMNT Snowboard Bindings 2009:

This is the second pair of these bindings I bought. I had the Deltas from a few years ago and really liked them but the convertible toe would slip sometimes and I had some hardware come loose at 12,000 ft. Not cool. So here come the Betas and I realized the hardware that come loose on my Deltas has been replaced by rivets and the big fat toe strap doesn't budge. I like ugly gear, so the pink is just fine with me.
