Product Info

Ride a true skate inspired binding with the Now Drive Snowboard Bindings. The Drive is a juiced up freeride binding that gets rid of the traditional binding's shortcomings to give you better energy transfer, less fatigue, and a better overall riding experience that will take you to new heights. Traditional bindings diminish energy transfer through the flexing of the highback and baseplate, forcing you to crank your straps down harder with more forward lean. The result? Foot pain and fatigue. The Drive utilizes a kingpin similar to those found in skate trucks to transfer energy input from the straps to the bushings and onto the edges of your board without diminishing that energy, and uses it to provide increased response. The Drive also features asymmetrical 3D Flippit ankle straps that gives you the option of switching between freestyle and freeride support. Stop living in the past and ride NOW now.

Comments about Now Drive Snowboard Bindings 2014:

So I got these to throw on my T.rice 161.5 combined with Rome Inferno boots. I was searching for a big/all mountain binding to replace my well worn and much loved Targas. The drives dont turn any easier then Targas and i noticed absolutely no difference in turning with the pivoting action. The only thing i did notice was how the board/bindings seemed to take choppy conditions slightly better then my Targas. These are probably better suited for park being theyre pretty flexible, forgiving and not very powerful. Then again with all the park oriented bindings out there for 1/2 the price why would you buy these? So if youre searching for a big mountain, stiff, powerful binding. Look elsewhere. If youre looking for an expensive, freestyle, more playful binding these are well suited.

Comments about Now Drive Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Binders seemed fine until I unloaded the solid steel discs, which about doubled the weight. Binding rides ok while engaged and on rail, but gives a uncertain feel when riding across the flats or not on rail. Way too heavy.

Comments about Now Drive Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I wear a size 13 burton boot and find the heel cup on this binding is designed probably for average size riders. Boot locks in nicely but it actually squeezes my heel in a very uncomfortable way. I really like the size of the burton baseplates as far as interfacing with my boots, but the burton bindings only last me about 6 or 7 runs before I break them. no joke.. anyway I think the quality and strength of the now bindings are excellent but if you have a big foot you may want to look elsewhere.

Comments about Now Drive Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I'm riding these on my Jones Flagship and so far I've been super happy. They are incredibly comfortable under foot and in the ankle strap. With the hinge/skate tech/kingpin design, I feel like they float a bit more on edge to edge transitions. It may come down to preference, but I like the feel.

I'll also note that these fit on my board really well. I have a size 11 boot, and I found that other bindings that fit my boot tended to overhang my board a bit too much. These fit my boot and my board perfectly.
