Comments about K2 Uprise Snowboard Bindings 2012:

When I first rode these they were great. Super responsive and kept the foot locked good. After 2 weeks of riding now they aren't so good. The Cable from the autocinch loosened and even if I get them to lock me .. it will loosten on the way down the mountain. Very annoying. Not a very reliable system. I'll have to take them to the shop to see if they can do anything.

It takes a good half hour to set these up properly. Once dialed in, the give the perfect fit everytime. Bottom strap adjusts itself to the perfect tension. The amount of tilt, angle, ankle back angle, length, etc that can be adjusted makes it completely individualized. Built with quality and durability!

Comments about K2 Uprise Snowboard Bindings 2012:

I have the 2010 Auto Uprises and loved them. I just purchased the 2012s, and there have been a few changes made. One change is the toe strap is now lower profile and plastic. The toe strap on my old bindings wore significantly, so hopefully this will prevent that problem. Another change is the interface for adjusting the highback. Instead of the traditional adjustment, these bindings have a clip that allows you to adjust the angle of the entire highback and where it rests againts the rear support. I've heard of some people having trouble with the durability of the auto adjusting cable system, but I haven't had and problems yet
