Product Details

Baseplate

Auto Carbon Chassis is constructed of Carbon Reinforced Nylon, offering lightweight responsive performance.

Multi-compatible and Offset discs feature a two slot design and mounts on 4-hole and 3-hole patterns. The offset slots allow for toe-heel centering by rotating it 180 degrees.

Canted Seamless EVA Footbeds are angled inward 3 degrees to match your natural leg position during riding. The EVA cover with polycarbonate support frame prevents snow build-up.

Tool-Less Adjust Power Ramp

Straps

Auto™ System automatically closes and opens the toe straps with the ankle straps, a major binding innovation.

EZ-Set Straps allow you to independently adjust top and bottom bands for a custom fit with cored straps for lightweight and secure fit over the toe.

Custom Caddi Ankle Strap has super cush performance, a ladder cover and is made of durable PU laminates.

Hinge Mount & Cam-Lock Centering

Highback

Rocklock Highbacks are asymmetrically shaped to match your natural stance. These highbacks allow for seamless power transfer and tool-less forward lean. The Rocklock Highbacks also have a thermo-formed EVA Calfpad.

Additional Features

Aluminum Airlite Ratchet is lightweight, speedy and has a longer lever for more cranking power.

Harshmellow™ shockpads have superior vibration dampening properties placed in the heel and toe of the binding to absorb chatter and suck up impacts from flat landings or rough terrains.

Comments about K2 Uprise Snowboard Bindings 2012:

When I first rode these they were great. Super responsive and kept the foot locked good. After 2 weeks of riding now they aren't so good. The Cable from the autocinch loosened and even if I get them to lock me .. it will loosten on the way down the mountain. Very annoying. Not a very reliable system. I'll have to take them to the shop to see if they can do anything.

Comments about K2 Uprise Snowboard Bindings 2012:

It takes a good half hour to set these up properly. Once dialed in, the give the perfect fit everytime. Bottom strap adjusts itself to the perfect tension. The amount of tilt, angle, ankle back angle, length, etc that can be adjusted makes it completely individualized. Built with quality and durability!

Comments about K2 Uprise Snowboard Bindings 2012:

I have the 2010 Auto Uprises and loved them. I just purchased the 2012s, and there have been a few changes made. One change is the toe strap is now lower profile and plastic. The toe strap on my old bindings wore significantly, so hopefully this will prevent that problem. Another change is the interface for adjusting the highback. Instead of the traditional adjustment, these bindings have a clip that allows you to adjust the angle of the entire highback and where it rests againts the rear support. I've heard of some people having trouble with the durability of the auto adjusting cable system, but I haven't had and problems yet
