Product Info

The K2 Hurrithane Snowboard Bindings are the original urethane highbacks, starting a wave of ultra-lightweight and durable bindings to hit the binding scene. This year, the Hurrithanes are tweaked out and better than ever. With a little bit of weight loss, the new and improved Hurrithanes are lighter and have utilized the natural flex of the urethane highback, resulting in a more skate-inspired flex. Lightweight, durable, and with Harshmellow™ dampeners in the footbed, the K2 Hurrithanes are one powerful set of freestyle bindings.

Great Binding if you ride a lot of park. If your going to do a bunch of free riding it's easy to adjust to stiffen it up a little. Other then that great tweekable binding. I now use this over my Rome 390BOSS bindings

I got these bindings for Christmas along with a K2 board and boots. These bindings are the most adjustable bindings I've ever used.

Comments about K2 Hurrithane Snowboard Bindings 2014:

When I first pulled these out of the box I was skeptical, but as soon as I strapped in I was sold. These look rather cheaply built at first, but they were excellent to ride with. Very adjustable, lightweight, and easy to pop in and out. I chose these to use with my K2 WWW and they match perfectly. Very flexible and easy to manipulate.

Comments about K2 Hurrithane Snowboard Bindings 2014:

These bindings were a big upgrade to my last bindings and what a difference. The bindings are light and have a little give to them (in a good way)
I have only had a chance to use them once, but I felt like I had superior control.

Comments about K2 Hurrithane Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I got the chance to try out the K2 Hurrithane Bindings during the K2 demo day. I would describe myself as a intermediate/advance snowboarder. I already own a pair of bindings from K2 so the ones I tried out I found very similar to mine. I'm 5'7" and about 140 pounds, the board that I rode was a little short in length for me but the bindings I tried were excellent. Did not have any problems getting in or out of them and they felt very secure around my boot while providing enough flex. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it felt a little too flexible at times when it could have been stiffer but I think that's because this binding is more for park and pipe riders when I was riding all-mountain that day.

Comments about K2 Hurrithane Snowboard Bindings 2014:

-I am 5'6" and ride with Ride Revolt bindings. I typically ride off-piste terrain, groomers, and park. I am fairly experienced with about 12+ years. I have ridden Rome, Saloman, and Ride bindings in the past, but have a bias towards Ride bindings due to their reliability and durability. -The K2 Hurrithane bindings were a solid pair of bindings that get the job done. They have a soft flex in the highback which makes them ideal for freestyle oriented riding. I demoed the Hurrithanes in powder, hard packed, and icy terrain. These bindings performed well in all conditions. The soft flex handled well through the hard-packed and powder. Ideally, i would want a stiffer highback, but the Hurrithane's Urethane highback performed well by providing response and support on the steep and rough terrain. The Urethane base looked suspect by seeming as if they would break when pushed too hard, but the bindings were sturdy and lightweight. -The only issue I had with the bindings were the ankle strap. About halfway through my day, the ankle strap began to dig into my boot creating pressure points. If I were to loosen the strap, the bindings would have rode too loose to ride through powder and steep terrain. The bindings may have received a better review if I spent time customizing them to fit my foot. -Overall the Hurrithane bindings are a solid pair of bindings that get the job done. They are lightweight and soft, yet provide a decent amount of response and support. These would be great ridden loose through the park.
