Comments about K2 Cinch Tryst Snowboard Bindings - Women's 2012:

I just switched this year from the flows to the K2 cinch. The cinch is easier to adjust and get in and out of. I work at a ski resort and ride every day, so being able to get in and out of my bindings makes my job a lot easier.

Comments about K2 Cinch Tryst Snowboard Bindings - Women's 2012:

I've been riding the 2010-11 version of these bindings for a year. They are really well-constructed and comfortable. They are also really easy to get out of when you get to the lift - just flip the lever down and step out as you are gliding. Getting in is more difficult. It's hard to get enough leverage to flip the lever up when you're gliding off the lift (for an intermediate, at least). If you stop, you have to get on your knees to get in. It's awkward trying to shove your foot in with the board behind you. If you're sitting, the backs hit the snow don't open enough to get your foot in. That being said, I'm usually into my bindings before my friends who have traditional ones. The only other faults are that you sacrifice some lateral stiffness due to the flip mechanism and it's hard to get the toe tightness just right without being able to ratchet. They do the job though. These bindings are probably best for powder as they are easy to get out of. They work well enough for all-mountain and are probably the best of the convenience bindings.
