Comments about K2 Cinch CTC Snowboard Bindings 2009:

Make sure to get boots that fit right. I had some 07 salomon boots that were to wide. they did not snap in to easily. but i got k2 boots now and no problems at all. Also make sure before getting on the lift you snap in the binding on your free foot. I had not snap mine in and triped over it when getting off the lift. Other then that the product is great. Would highly recommend this binding at all skill levels.

Comments about K2 Cinch CTC Snowboard Bindings 2009:

Received these bindings for an early Christmas gift. On the second day out, the base plate broke into two pieces. They are very easy to get in and out of but doesn't do you much good if they break. I would not recommend these bindings.

Comments about K2 Cinch CTC Snowboard Bindings 2009:

I have the 2008 version of these bindings. These are essentially the same but just a bit lighter than mine, and slightly different graphics. I am still riding them after 2+ seasons and they've held up really well and still feel and look almost like new.

I came from riding the Ride SPI bindings and compared to those, these are just a tiny bit less stiff, easier to get in and out of, comfortable cushioned base, good fit, and not too heavy. It took me approximately 1 season to get used to them but after that time they rock and I wouldn't want another binding. The only thing I would say is the front strap isn't particularly adjustable. You can change the length but not much else. But for me, not a big deal.

Keep in mind I have a size 11 - 11.5 boot and bought a size XL and the fit is just right (my Ride L were extra tight). I think XL will accommodate at least up to a size 12.

Comments about K2 Cinch CTC Snowboard Bindings 2009:

Bought these as an alternative to Flow's, as these have less lateral flex (good for carving) The first day one toe strao showed signs of wear (stitching over strap was coming apart). Within a few more days the ankle straps were doing the same. Additionally, there is some sort of padded material on the inside of the highback: it is falling off now after less than 10 days. Talked with another guy who had them on the hill the other day - he was experiencing the same problems. Absolutely poor quality, expecially for the price.
