Comments about GNU Mutant Snowboard Bindings 2014:

A very well designed binding. There are a couple of unusual but great features about this binding. First is the pressure releaf button on the ankle strap. This also makes it very easy to enter the bindings as well. The toe strap is also designed well. It is preshaped and has a rubber edge to cup the toe nicely. Other nice features are the aluminum baseplate, asym high back, comfortable straps, and lightweight. The only thing missing is a canted footbed. That would have made this binding exceptional.

Comments about GNU Mutant Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I bought these bindings for a ski trip, After 2 days the toe strap had split and the binding base had warped.
Contacted GNU for warranty, trying everything to get out of it.

Comments about GNU Mutant Snowboard Bindings 2014:

This is the ultimate binding! This is my second pair - the first lasted for several years before the springs wore out. This latest version includes some clutch improvements in adjustability by adding a full ratchet to the ankle strap. You can also swap out the toe straps to fit low/high profile boots. The elastic band on the toe strap makes for an incredibly tight yet comfortable fit. The ankle strap release lets your relax and ride the chair in comfort and then easily snap it back together and charge hard.

These bindings are unbeatable. All the comfort and quickness of rear entry bindings still with the adjustability of strap-ins.

Comments about GNU Mutant Snowboard Bindings 2014:

It's a super comfortable binding. I like them a lot. There are a few cons:

Took a while to get it adjusted to my boot, the front straps are not ratchet-driven so you have to take your boot OUT of the binding to set it properly.

In deep powder they're not as easy to put on because you need the hiback completely perpendicular to the ground to slip in and out so I found my self in this strange position on my knees sometimes getting strapped in.

Once in a while the bindings would release when unstrapped, defeating the whole purpose of speed-entry system.

      PROS:
Really comfortable AND firm, and when they're fit properly and you have a good place to strap in, they're SO fast to get in and out of. So despite the cons I LOVE them.
