FT-JR Baseplate - One piece simple design for lightweight durability. Smooth nylon footbed with disk cover sheds snow with ease, and a micro traction surface ensures stability.
4 & 3 hole compatible disc
C.C.C. Straps - Compound Curve Construction straps are designed with precision to conform to the complex curves of your boot like a second skin for a secure and comfortable fit.
Micro Buckle - Adjust strap tension while you're on the go - you can tighten a couple of clicks for a big hit or loosen for relaxed terrain without even slowing down. Use the micro buckle to release the strap for additional exit and entry space in steep terrain, too.
FT-JR Highback - Cored highback designed for the Jr. rider with comfort and support from soft EVA padding and an extra large highback release lever for fool-proof entry and exit.
Additional Features
Pressure Relief Button - Press the button to relax ankle strap pressure on your front foot. Increased blood flow keeps feet comfortable and warm. Keeps your strap pre-sets in place for the ride down.
Auto Open Levers - These levers open the straps automatically when the high-back is lowered and close with just one click.

  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Flex Rating: Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
