GNU Backdoor Snowboard Bindings : The GNU Backdoor Snowboard Binding is an all terrain binding with all the key features to get you in and out of your bindings with speed and ease. Smooth snow-shedding footbed and a new large inverse seam ankle strap design keep it fast, easy, and affordable for the budget-minded rider.
Baseplates
FT1 Baseplate is GNU’s original baseplate for smooth response and comfort. The two component baseplate utilizes Xenoy side-covers to absorb vibration and fiber reinforced nylon to transfer energy.
Full EVA foam foot bed from heel to toe for consistent cushioning.
Straps
The Inverse Single Panel ankle strap is designed to conform to your boot with a smooth consistent fit for maximum comfort.
Inversed Seam Toe Strap cradles your boot toe for stability and control.
Adjust toe strap tension while on the go with their Micro Buckle.
Cam Lever Buckles allow for quick and easy strap length adjustment. No tool required.
Highbacks
FT 2 Highback is cored for lightweight and tuned flex. Soft top pad encloses top edges of highback to eliminate all pressure points
Flex
Flex Rating: 6 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) Medium flex for those that need support and still some softness

Comments about GNU Backdoor Snowboard Bindings 2012:

Took 1.5 hrs to set up, once I had on board I had no adjustements to make. (centered to boot/board at 20in stance with duck at 12 -12 degrees, adjusted highback to remain perp w/sidecut at the duck stance i rock)

I have on a 2012 T.rice Pro 153cm and it's soft enough to tweak grabs but performs stiff enough at high speed on this board to make me want to sell my T9's on the 150 Park Pickle & 153 Attack Banana. I would spend a few more dollars to get the Park or Choice bindings to get the padded EVA footbeds and rubber gasket to protect topsheet. Otherwise, VERY VERY happy. you really do get more runs with less strap in times. its crazy how effecient the design is.
