Forum Keeper Snowboard Bindings - Women's 2013

This is a binding fit for the metaphorical queen, or literal, but snowboarding would be an odd sport for royalty. Built with Feelin' It Good Vibes from Forum, the Women's Forum Keeper Snowboard Bindings are playin' no games, with a footbed built to land on the flattest of jumps or carve hard on the iced out groomers. The two innovative toe and ankle straps will keep you comfortable and in control fro those all day long sessions in the terrain park.
Flex
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Baseplate
Good Vibes EVA Footpad - An adjustable full-length pad that protects riders from heavy impacts and minimizes chatter, while still allowing precise board feel and control
Good Vibes Hinge Disk - Providing increased board feel and control, the Hinge Disk utilizes two separate pieces that operate independently, allowing the binding to flex underfoot. Designed to fit 4x4 boards exclusively, this disk allows 30 degrees of rotation and three settings of nose-to-tail stance-width adjustment.
30% Glass-Filled Nylon - A tech composite mix of 30% glass fibers and high-grade nylon allows for maximum power transfer while still providing underfoot feel and dampening.
Straps
Bubbler Ankle Strap - The Bubbler strap brings comfort with its thick inset padding and 3D interior spine for plush comfort when you've got it cranked all the way to 11 or if you're just hanging your board from the chair.
Throwdown Cap Toe Strap - Designed for complete coverage around the toes, this molded strap throws down on demand and cinches boots into the heel cup for precise edge control.

Specs

  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
