I love this bindings! I got this for my fiance and myself have a pair flow essence. LOVE how they feel and right to the size. One thing i won't recommend this type of bindings for beginners because when you on the snow its hard to put on when you don't have a chair or bench to sit on ( i learned it the hard way ), but once you get the heck of it you will be fine. Overall I give it a 4 out of 5 =D

OK, but....

My locking levers often come loose and when I close them they tighten up a notch, so when I go to kick in again they're too small and I have to readjust them.

My locking levers often come loose and when I close them they tighten up a notch, so when I go to kick in again they're too small and I have to readjust them.

When sliding on your back, if you're dragging your board the rear closing levers can catch and release your board. Happened 3 times this season so far, never happened with my Amp 2's.

Comments about Flow The Five Snowboard Bindings 2009:

I rode these bingings twice, and on the second trip, my rear binding broke in half around the base plate and the entire thing came off my board while I was on a double black. Getting the part that covers your foot adjusted right was hard because when you lock the ratchets in place, it would grab a few more teeth, making it tighter, and then making it hard to close the high back. The silver rubbed off around the edges of the ratchets as well after the first ride.

These are ri-tardedly easy to take on and off, especially for beginners. The fit is great and true to size. Quite honestly, not sure what else you could want in a binding unless a pair exist that pour you a cocktail while boarding on them.

Initial setup takes time, but after that, these bindings are great!
The easiest binding to get in & out of. One-snap rear entry means you spend less time adjusting them on the mountain.
