Flex Rating 8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – Stiff for unmatched performance and stability without feeling overbearing.
Baseplate
NX2 Series Chassis – The NX2 models offer a ligthweight aluminum-alloy rockered baseplate. This is Flow's stiffest and most responsive baseplate. All NX2 models also feature Active Strap Technology.
Rockered Baseplate – The minimized contact area with the board channels your power where it needs to go while the rockered corners of the baseplate allow any type of board to maintain optimal flex.
2.5° Canted Dual-Density BankBeds – BankBeds are full-length EVA footbeds with 2.5° canting for optimized fit, support and energy transfer.
OC-Kush Base and Heel Pad – OC-Kush cushioning dampens landings and absorbs chatter. Featured on the NX2 series in the OC-Kush basepad, which fits perfectly to the rockered baseplate shape for efficient energy transfer. Some NX2 and Fuse series models feature OC-Kush toe and heel impact inserts for additional comfort.
Highback
Glass-Filled Nylon ModBack Hiback – Modular highbacks are separated into lower and upper zones for targeted strength, support, and flex where you need it. GF-Nylon offers a lively and fun feel.
Straps
Fusion Powerstrap – The Fusion Powerstrap is 3D shaped, fuses the ankle and to zones over the mid-foot, and is padded for a super comfortable and form-fitted interface with your boot. Enjoy maximum support and transmission.
Active Strap Technology – Dual-Entry has never been more convenient without sacrificing the performance, comfort, and power transmission that Flow bindings are famous for. With Flow's revolutionary Active Strap Technology, the strap automatically lifts up when you open the reclining highback and actively tightens again when you close the highback. AST reduces friction and creates more room so that getting in and out of your binding is faster and easier than ever.
Buckles
Locking Slap Ratchet Aluminum Buckles – Give you the option to easily get in and out of your bindings any which way you like. Aluminum design also reduces friction and weight.
Additional Features
Rear Entry System – The locking cable mechanism can be opened for seamless and quick rear access to the binding with no need to strap in at the top of every lift.

Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
