Product Info

Combining both the ease of use of rear-entry bindings with a stiffer profile has got the pow-seeking explorers amped over the Flow NX2-GT Snowboard Bindings. Life simply isn't the same when it only takes two pops to the back of your heels 'til your ready to shred your line. With a proprietary Active Strap Technology, this simple process becomes even more efficient by allowing the Fusion PowerStrap to contract on your foot when you slap up the hiback and expand when you're taking them off. The LSR Buckles make the NX2-GT Bindings Dual-Entry, meaning you can bathe in the nostalgia of strapping in traditionally, or lock the buckles in place for a speedy Rear-entry. The Flow NX2-GT Snowboard Bindings are the performers you need for laying down first tracks and attacking the park with one setup.

Product Details

Flex

Responsive & LivelyA stiff flex for aggressive riders who need turning precision, control and ample response in all conditions.

Baseplate

Aluminum Alloy Rockered BaseplateEngineered to transmit energy directly to the board without loss of efficiency. The minimized contact area with the board channels your power where it needs to go while the rockered corners of the baseplate allow any type of board to maintain optimal flex.

OC Kush BasepadOC-Kush cushioning dampens landings and absorbs chatter. Featured on the NX2 series in the OC-Kush basepad, which fits perfectly to the rockered baseplate shape for efficient energy transfer. Some NX2 and Fuse series models feature an OC-Kush toe and keep impact inserts for additional comfort.

BankBeds with OC-Kush Impact InsertsBankBeds are full-length EVA-footbeds with 2.5 degree canting for optimized fit, support and energy transfer. Featured on the NX2, Fuse, and ISIS series.

Straps

Fusion PowerStrapFeatures a 3D shaped strap that fuses the ankle and toe zones together over the midfoot. Padded for a super comfortable form-fit to your boot. The Fusion PowerStrap provides maximum support and energy transmission.

Active Strap TechnologyThe PowerStrap actively opens up and tightens down with the use of the Reclining Hiback. This reduces friction and creates more room, so getting in & out is faster and easier than ever.

Buckles

Locking Slap RatchetLSR buckles give you the option to easily get in and out of your bindings any which way you like. Whether SpeedEntry or DualEntry, they lock down to secure your preferred foot strap tightness.

Highback

ModBack Hiback with Aluminum Alloy HeelcupThe modular hibacks separate the lower and upper zones for targeted strength, support, and flex where you need it. On the NX2, Fuse, and ISIS series, the lower zone also automatically triggers N.A.S.T.Y.

Additional Features

Aluminum offset (5 mm) multi-disk for 4x4, 3HP & channel-M6

I have the same binding from previous years (2014, & 2015). I was getting another pair for my other son. This is the same exact spec as previously year's GREAT binding. Only difference is the color and logo (sticker on back). Compared to my son's K2 cinch, this very light. Although, my son likes K2 cinch's toe cap part better since the toe cap also lifts up when releasing.
My older NX2-GT has hybrid toe-cap strap which requires pulling up on the toe cap a bit every time I put my boot in since it's too fixed in place. I got a power strap this time and we'll see if it's better when the snow comes.

    Top Of The Line

Comments about Flow NX2-GT Snowboard Bindings 2016:

This is the highest end, quick entry binding on the market. It is a bit expensive, but beats the K2 cinch in terms of weight. The NX2-GT is simply lighter and simpler. The old school foot strap is the same old Flow and is much less tedious and obnoxious than Flow's Hybrid strap that requires constant adjustment.

Comments about Flow NX2-GT Snowboard Bindings 2016:

I've tried traditional strap bindings, I got older... so getting down and up has become an effort.
My sons also wanted to be able to just "take-off".
Now all 3 of us have NX2-GT bindings.
I prefer Power strap over hybrid which I gave to my son. Hybrid strap requires toe cap strap to be "touched" every time you put your boot in.

Comments about Flow NX2-GT Snowboard Bindings 2016:

Pros: Quick easy entry. Fusion strap distributes pressure across foot instead of focusing on toes and middle foot. The straps lift when the back is down which allows you easier entry. If you get caught in pow or need to strap in on a steep slope you can enter from the front like traditional bindings. Super sturdy construction.
    Cons: Heavier than traditional bindings

Comments about Flow NX2-GT Snowboard Bindings 2016:

I preferred a toe cap so I purchased the 2015 Flow NX2-GT Hybrids and hated the constant adjustment on the toe cap. So I switched to these bindings and all I can say is AMAZING. Super easy entry/exit, quick adjustments depending on what I'm riding that day (Park, POW, or just cruising). Quick and responsive when riding tough conditions.

Comments about Flow NX2-GT Snowboard Bindings 2016:

Seems the more beer I drink, the farther my feet get from my hands.

The entrance is easy (not quite as easy as the k2 clicker of yore but better than gasping for breath around like a fish in the dirt). The binding straps are buttery adjustable once you're in. Sounds like some folks set and forget but I loosen the straps for lift rides, then tighten to ride. Easy to do and action seems high quality. I found I was camming down the front strap too much and mashing my foot to the bed -painful until I realized I still had good control with a less cranking. I guess I prefer the over-the-toe-cap strap setup to over-the-foot.

I ride stiff boots on a stiff board aggressively on all mtn terrain. The bindings didn't have any noticeable flex compared to my Union Atlas bindings. These gave me comparable edge control on chunk, ice and powder. Some complain of weight but I don't notice it riding.

Excited to Try - Not the Binding for Me

Comments about Flow NX2-GT Snowboard Bindings 2016:

I was so excited about the Flow bindings as I have been wanting a pair for years. Finally bought them and decided to go with the high end ones. Construction is of the highest quality and they are very comfortable. However, I wanted them so that I could be faster in and out as I ride with some skier buddies (sure I could use some new friends.) and I discovered that it was not much faster to get into these compared to my standard ratchet bindings. Also, at the end of the run, I had a hard time pushing the back down to get out of them. I did discover that the back was catching on the heal of my old Salomon Malamute Boots thus preventing me from easily pushing down the back of the binding......and it tore up the back of my old boots as well. I decided to return the bindings after one ride and stick with my standard ratchet strap bindings.

I have been riding Flow bindings for 10 + years now and every incarnation of the NX2 binding is leaps and bounds better than the last. I love the 2016 GT's. I am the kind of rider who likes a stiff binding and the NX2-GT delivers! the comfort, easy and durability of the GT is unsurpassed in the world of quick entry bindings. Keep up the good work Flow and I'll keep buying

Comments about Flow NX2-GT Snowboard Bindings 2016:

Great product at a great price with prompt delivery service! THX u Evo! My only wish is that Flow made multiple cants for their bindings! I use these stiff Flow bindings on craving boards and would like my rear foot canted 3degrees forward and 3 degrees left to right as I ride directional right foot forward. Any after market cants out there to fit Flow bindings??
