Flow M9 Snowboard Bindings 2011 – A go-to binding in the Flow line, the Flow M9 Snowboard Bindings offer you everything you need for all-mountain domination. The 30% glass-filled Nylon baseplate is lightweight and indestructible, and the I-Flex PowerStrap with 4 locking Airframe MINIratchets and low-friction LadderGuides ensure that your feet are snug and comfortable while connected to your stick. A 15% glass-fill Nylon Ventilated highback is the key to responsive and powerful turns, so why not give the M9 a try? It’s a great binding at an even greater value. Be an all-mountain rider and dominate your local park or pipe.
Baseplates
The Flow M9 Snowboard Bindings feature an incredibly responsive 30% Nylon M-Series baseplate.
Straps
Flex Rating: 3.5 (1 Soft – 5 Stiff)
The I-Flex PowerStrap has deep side cutouts that provide ideal flex for freestylers and all-mountain riders. The I-Flex works with all boot and board types and comes with a 3-D molded contour in your critical instep area, maintaining a direct force path from binding to boot to board for powerful toeside turns. The 4 locking Aluminum Airframe MINIratchet buckles and low-friction ladder guides provide total control and support.
Highbacks
The 30% Nylon Ventilated Hiback features an integrated backflare at the lower edge which eliminates any risk of the highback catching on a protruding boot heel, and also serves to stiffen the overall highback structure through the enhanced 3D shaping.
Additional Features
A movable toe-ramp with EVA cushioning pads allows optimized boot to board energy transfer and amazing foot support. Synchronous Length Adjustment (SLA) maintains ideal geometry of the Power Triangle design for every highback position automatically and allows for highback rotation to align with the edge of your board at the same time. Free+ Snaplock delivers a tool-less infinitely fine forward-lean adjustment that you can crank up or down without even getting out of your bindings.
Flow Binding Technology
As with all Flow bindings, Flow technology combines their original reclining highback for the easiest entry in all conditions that’s ergonomically designed to match your legs’ biomechanics. Hiback Flare eliminates any catching of the highback on the heel of the boot while the one piece 3D Powerstrap evenly distributes pressure over a wider boot surface, automatically adapting to every boot shape and foot type with more power advantage in toeside turns. The patented Power Triangle links the highback directly to the center area of the baseplate with a high-tension steel cable, creating a structurally powerful and very responsive triangular geometry that results in more control with no energy loss and less weight.

I spend most of my time in the park and freeride when the conditions are right for it or I'm just hangin out with friends. The binding feel great, highly adjustable to your liking and very supportive. They're easy to clip into and out of. I find myself waiting on friends all the time. I did find my self having some trouble getting into them when I had to unclip myself due to getting stuck in some powder but I feel it would be tough to get into any binding unless you're really out of shape haha. Great binding and great buy. I'd recommend it for anyone that knows how to ride. People that are new to boarding should probly stay away cause I think theyd have trouble setting them up correctly

Very easy to install and light weight and now the bad part as a huge fan of Flows these are NOT the bindings to purchase. Why is this a) they have no base plate to cover your screws which causes snow and ice to pile up b) certain boots will not easily fit these bindings please try the bindings and boots before purchase. c) the clip at the back does not always snap and lock = unsafe riding
Strongly recommend the NXT-AT Flows for anyone who is interest.

Comments about Flow M9 Snowboard Bindings 2011:

Bought these for my fiancé, and the women's Flow Essence for myself. He LOVES them. Was using an older pair of Flow's before, and really likes them for the quick entry, and they don't pinch your feet since the full front "strap" holds your boot in without any pressure points. With Flow's you either love them or hate them- we both love them. The M series is one of their higher end models and well worth the $$. Though since we bought last years models we got a huge discount. His only complaint is that they are a little on the heavy side.

I've only used these bindings twice, and I already love them.
This is my first experience using Flow bindings and they are fantastic.
These bindings have ratcheting adjustments, not like the cheaper flow bindings. Definitely a plus when adjusting them to your liking.

These came with standard 14mm screws, but due to the binding design, had to go hunt down much longer (18's) to secure the binding correctly. Preferred the NXT's, but they did not fit my boots. Several friends are using K2 step-ins, so toss-up.
EVO ROCKS. Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable tech staff, easy return policy, fast shipping, good web site design, competitive pricing. I look here first for everything.

Upgraded to the M9 from an older model Amp5 that didn't have the newer, lighter I-Strap. Incredible how much of a difference it makes in board feel and comfort. I always recommend Flow bindings for their quality and quickness on the lifts. Definitely recommend the M9 to anyone looking to take their riding to the next level.
