Product Info

The Flow Fuse-RS Snowboard Bindings are Flow's premiere all-mountain binding that combine the feel of a molded Nylon baseplate with the support of the molded Nylon heelcup and ModBack hiback. This results in a moderately stiff binding with a snappy response, but the EVO.8 SupportPanel brings in enough flex for that freestyle feel. Equipped with the proven Fusion PowerStrap you know you will be comfy and all set for some serious riding.

Product Details

Flex

Flex Rating: 8 (1 Soft - 10 Very Stiff)A stiff flex for advanced to expert riders looking for a stable and responsive binding.

Baseplate

Molded GF-Nylon Rockered BaseplateEngineered to transmit energy directly to the board without loss of efficiency. The minimized contact area with the board channels your power where it needs to go while the rockered corners of the baseplate allow any type of board to maintain optimal flex.

BankBeds with OC-Kush Impact InsertsBankBeds are full-length EVA-footbeds with 2.5 degree canting for optimized fit, support and energy transfer. Featured on the NX2, Fuse, and ISIS series.

Straps

Active Strap TechnologySpeedEntry has never been more convenient without sacrificing the superior performance, comfort and power transmission that Flow bindings are famous for. With their revolutionary New Active Strap Technology (N.A.S.T.Y.), the strap automatically lifts you up when you open the reclining hiback and actively tightens again when you close the hiback. N.A.S.T.Y. reduces friction and creates more room so that getting in and out of your binding is faster and easier than ever.

Fusion Power StrapThe Fusion PowerStrap is 3D-shaped, fuses the ankle and toe zones over the midfoot, and is padded for a super comfortable form-fit to your boot. This PowerStrap provides maximum support and energy transmission.

LSR BucklesThese innovative LockingSlapRatchet buckles give you the option to easily get in and out of your bindings any which way you like, whether SpeedEntry or SideEntry.

Highback

ModBack Hiback with Molded GF-Nylon HeelcupThe modular hibacks separate the lower and upper zones for targeted strength, support, and flex where you need it. On the NX2, Fuse, and ISIS series, the lower zone also automatically triggers N.A.S.T.Y.

4-Way adjustable EVO.8 SupportPanel

Comments about Flow Fuse-RS Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I really loved the idea of this design. so easy to kick in the back and just flip the clamp right?

well that's wrong. flipping the clamp with frozen fingers is not that easy. Also, if your foot is not all the way in, the back plate will catch on your heel and not fold up. I bought Large for size 10 boots and they were very snug.

I knew that Large was for size 7-10 or something but i would have thought a 10 would fit easier.

So, you want to switch to side entry? go right ahead thats fine, its only impossible to line up both clamps at the same time. and if you do one first, you wont get the second in.

also extremely stiff. i knew they would be stiff according to the scale but they are rock solid. which is a good aspect.

Comments about Flow Fuse-RS Snowboard Bindings 2014:

These bindings are great, especially for under $200. I have been waiting to buy new bindings and was a little hesitant to try Flow. After buying them, I can't understand how all bindings don't utilize the one strap. So much more comfort, feel, and maneuverability. I would definitely recommend these bindings and any Flow products for that matter.

Comments about Flow Fuse-RS Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I have no complaints whatsoever except that I thought they would be a little bit easier to get into. Then again, they are still a lot more convenient than traditional bindings. I was surprised how responsive they are given that I keep them a little loose.

I took them out on the mountain at Copper, Arapahoe, and Keystone. They are very easy to use. Just know that you cannot sit to put on these bindings.

Comments about Flow Fuse-RS Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I was excited to get these bindings as soon as I saw them. They are a stiff which is great because they react really well when I need to turn on a dime. I love everything about these bindings. Only complaint it that the release is a bit hard to undo. But I believe it's getting easier the more I use my bindings. Can't wait to take them out on the slopes again soon.

Comments about Flow Fuse-RS Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Overall this is a good improvement with the Flow products. I do like that the entire face of the unit slides up when releasing. As a downfall however, the lever in the back seemed to get stuck making it a little more difficult than needed to release. Additionally they seemed a bit narrow on my pair of 32 boots, but were a perfect fit for my slimmer Sims boots.
