Riders who want a freestyle tuned binding want the Bent Metal Mortal Snowboard Bindings. From the top of the mountain to the bottom of the park, the Mortal has you covered with its hybrid baseplates for precision, flex and dampening, to the asymmetrical ankle straps and NEW Leather Rollover Toe Straps for its grip and response for any trick you throw.
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 7, ideal for big-mountain riding
Poly/Alu Modular Baseplate - The hybrid design provides precision and nuance. The combination of materials creates a baseplate with precision, flex and vibration free performance.
Toe and heel ramps can be adjusted for a custom fit and rider preference.
Bent Metal bindings come with a smooth EVA foam footbed for dampening.
Tri-axial Mountain Disk - Has a special hole pattern for quick and flexible alignment and an easy to remove tool less disk cover. 4 hole pattern only.
Asymmetric Ankle Strap - The design adds extra lateral support and increased medial mobility. The inverse seam construction provides maximum comfort.
NEW Leather Rollover Toe Strap - The toe strap conforms to the shape of your boot for comfort and flex. The split “toe gap” locks on with the Sticky Stuff Coating. This toe strap can be ridden on top or rolled over the toe.
Bent Metal’s Lightweight Cored Highback - virtually incoherent yet responsive and laterally mobile. EVA foam pads extend over the top edge down to the heel pocket for maximum comfort.
Additional Features
Canting of the footbeds give you balance, and powerful pop from toe to heel.

  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
