I have a set of ride delta mvmnt bindings from 2008, in other words, right before the thingrip straps became standard on ride bindings, so I've been eyeing these for a while.

All in all, this strap upgrade is sick. They're really really easy to install, and are adjustable without tools for quick on the hill changes. The straps are really comfortable and grippy and don't slide on your boots at all. The only trouble I've ever had with these was when I first put them on. I didn't have them centered on my toes perfectly, and due to the grippiness of the material, the straps dug into my little toes. Thanks to the tool-less adjustability, I was able to fix this problem without even getting off the hill.

All in all, these straps are a really good investment if you have some older ride bindings, esp if you can find them on sale like I did.

These straps are pretty good. I have the Ride Delta MVMNT binding from 2008(Great binding by the way). I ripped the toe strap on one of them in the preseason this year, and i happened to find this for really cheap, so i ordered it. They are grippy, lightweight, and seem pretty comfortable. My one complaint is that the description said that they fit all ride bindings, when they did not really fit mine. The piece that fits into the outside of the binding so that you can screw the strap in did not fit in the notch. I had to file the notch down so it was bigger.

Comments about Ride Toe Strap Upgrade Kit 2012:

Great straps, but I had to get creative with hardware to make them work with my old Ride Flite bindings. But they are a great upgrade now that I have them working. (I just needed lock washers instead of the plastic pieces that obviously are designed for more recent bindings from Ride.

Comments about Ride Toe Strap Upgrade Kit 2012:

    All mountain snowboarding

Pros: as with any toe strap, this toe strap provides greater control of the board. Fits and holds well over toe even on my large size (14) booths.

Cons: it did not fit my bindings, but I was able to attach it with a little mechanical creativity.

Comments about Ride Toe Strap Upgrade Kit 2012:

The adjustments on these replacement toe straps work just fine, but the plastic netting they use isn't very durable and tears easily. They could've made them a bit more durable like the OEM toe straps that come with their bindings.

Comments about Ride Toe Strap Upgrade Kit 2012:

I bought these to use with my Rossignol bindings that were in desperate need of new toe cups. Now, I knew these were made for Ride bindings and new I was taking a gamble (had some Rides on my other board in case they didnt work on the Rossis) but was surprised with just a slight bit of work they were able to be placed on my bindings. Thats not to say they'll work on every binding, however. They work great, were very lightweight, and give great support. I know a few fellow riders who have used these as replacement straps as well, and have heard no complaints from them. The only difference from the picture is a black mesh on the toe instead of the clear mesh, which I personally thinks looks even better. Definitely recommended.

Comments about Ride Toe Strap Upgrade Kit 2012:

My Ride ex toe strap was falling apart from 2 years of 30+ days per year of resort and backcountry riding. These straps are WAAAAY better. Ride seems to have figured out the toestrap with these babies. They are not boxy like the other guys. They flex across the toe like a web, pulling the boot solidly back into the binding, keeping the heel back and the toes down for great responsiveness with comfort and style. The release latch is low profile, and can be hard to snag as you're sliding into the lift line, but that may be good as it's not coming undone unintentionally. Great product!
