I expected this bag to be thin, as it is not advertised to have a lot of padding, however i didn't take enough precaution when traveling with it. This bag will serve its purpose if you pay attention to what you're putting in it. I packed my snowboard and all my outerwear and after a round-trip flight i found a 1" long hole in the bag. These things really take a beating and get tossed around by the airline crew, and don't get me wrong this bag DID hold up with one exception. If you are packing a snowboard be sure to protect your metal edges. Place a strip or 2 of duct tape along your edges so it cannot cut the bag. If I had done that i believe this bag would be good for many more trips, but now I have to patch it up before I can use it again.Regardless, it was worth the [$] because I needed a bag in a hurry. Just cover your edges!

This bag carries my stuff. That is basically what I like most about it. It's not super thin; it's not super padded. You can fit a board, bindings, and a pair of boots. The strap is long and can't be adjusted much shorter, There is a compartment for leashes, a sharpener, etc. I got it on sale for half off. For full price, it would not be very impressive.

A nice snowboard bag but I wish it was a little more padded. I am going to take this on a snowboard trip and I hope it will hold up with the airlines.

Comments about Ride Blackened Snowboard Bag 2012:

I bought this bag to travel with between Oklahoma and Colorado. I stuffed some of my gear in the ends to add more protection. There was plenty of room for my boots, helmet, pants, and jacket. I wish there was more padding on the bottom of the bag, but its fine with a jacket or something wrapped around it. Also, the strap hooks are too close together which makes an awkward carry if it a heavy load. All in all, I'd recommend this bag for light travel or a quick day on the mountain.

Seems to work great so far- fits my boots and bindings along with the board, looks to be good quality. Haven't used it extensively yet, but seems to be a good bag for the price.

Comments about Ride Blackened Snowboard Bag 2012:

The material on this bag is very nice. However, it is a bit small. Can be use to store your board and maybe just enough to store your board and bindings. If you're looking for a bag that will fit all your gears, this is not the bag for you. It doesn't have much padding in it, so it's not a bag for travel either. It is nice for short day trips if you're just looking for something to carry your board and bindings, big 1-2 size bigger if you want a bit more room to carry other stuff.

Have not traveled with the bag yet so I cannot comment on its durability at this time. But I does look fabulous and fits my 162cm board/bindings, and possibly boots but haven't attempted to put them in yet.
