I generally wear these outside when I'm running in the cold. While I absolutely love their warmth and softness, they've stretched a bit since i first purchased them -- although just in the places where my body stretches them when I run-- ie the knees and butt. I'm too cautious to shrink them in the dryer, though, since that would risk shrinking them too much. If you're in between sizes, I'd recommend getting a size down, for this reason, but the stretching isn't so extreme as to justify everyone moving down a size.
