Volkl Queen Attiva skis inaugurate all you powder princesses to the queen bee. Volkl created these women’s specific freeride planks with variety in mind, being wide enough to tear it up in the depths of the fluffy backcountry while still being able to maintain on the front side. Taken from the concepts of the T-Rock, the Volkl Queen Attiva stays solid and damp underfoot while being the widest ski Volkl’s Attiva line offers. All though the Queen Attiva’s dominate in the powder, the Volkl Queen’s 87mm waist retains maneuverability in adverse conditions. They provide a core with 20% less weight and 20% more flex then the men’s and are ready for tele, alpine or AT bindings. The advanced expert Volkl Queen Attiva skis measure up to their high performance reputation.
- Sensorwood Core:The Sensorwood core is CNC milled using vertically laminated poplar and beech wood.
- Power Construction:Volkl’s longest running construction, Power Construction utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls and a torsion box internal layup. Featured in Race Stock skis as well as all Freesking models, this construction provides tremendous grip, stability, and sensitivity when combined with the Sensorwood core.
- Attiva Tip Profile:Attiva tip profile is the use of a lower, shorter tip profile. Slightly reducing the height and length of the tip reduces the swing weight, making the skis easier to handle than unisex models. They initiate the turn more easily as well, as the front of the boot is a little closer to the front of the ski.
