Product Info

One of the most popular women's skis in America, the Völkl Kenja Skis feature a Bio-Logic geometry of 127-87-106. For skiers looking to conquer both the front and backside with confidence, the Kenja's Titanium-enhanced Power Box construction provides unparalleled performance in almost any snow condition.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Tip RockerAn early rise tip designed for high performance all-mountain freeskiing. The combination of an early rise tip and a classic camber profile in the rest of the ski provides easy, smooth turn entry regardless of conditions. In softer snow the ski is incredibly forgiving, floats better and requires less energy to ride.

Sidecut

Bio-Logic GeometryBio-Logic sidecut shapes are wider in the tip and narrower in the tail than unisex skis, featuring a specific, progressive design that has a tighter turn radius in the front of the ski and a longer radius toward the tail. The narrower tail allows the skier to finish the turn with less effort, reducing the load on the knees. Rocker makes the overall ride smoother and more maneuverable regardless of snow conditions.

Core

Sensorwood LightCreated in a complex CNC milling process, a highly sophisticated milling program enables Volkl to produce wood cores with extreme precision. The Sensorwood core is made using vertically laminated poplar and beech wood.

Laminates

Power/Tough Box Powered by TitaniumVölkl's longest running construction, Power Construction utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls and a torsion box internal layup. Used in racing skis as well as all the freeskiing models, this versatile, proven construction provides tremendous grip and stability when combined with the Sensorwood core.

Binding Compatibility

Flat mounting area

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Comments about Volkl Kenja Skis - Women's 2014:

Gift from Santa for Christmas. Such a delight to ski! They are responsive, hold an edge on the icy Mid Atlantic crud, float thru man made powder. Felt confident on any hill, any level (east coast). Looking forward to testing them on some real runs out west.

Comments about Volkl Kenja Skis - Women's 2014:

I bought these skis just before a holiday at Whistler. In spite of the locals complaining about the snow being hard packed and icy, the Kenjas handled the conditions easily. Compared to my old Monsters, which had a tendency to stray off track, the Kenjas feel stable at speed, yet turn easily and feel light underfoot. The Kenjas make me feel like a better skier, and with the added confidence and stability I actually am skiing better.
I haven't had a chance to use them in powder so I can't comment on that, but so far I really love them.
