Volkl Kendo Skis 2012: The Volkl Kendo Skis are for the skier who wants an all-mountain freeride ski for 50/50 frontside/backside skiing. It shares the same construction as the Mantra but features a new shape of 127-88-109, 8mm narrower at the waist, and full camber making it a go-anywhere daily driver.
Shape
Full Camber is for skiers who still enjoy the feel of traditional camber. While not as silky-smooth as a rockered ski, full camber provides stability and acceleration for skiers wanting a more classic ride quality.
Construction
Volkl’s longest-running construction, Power Construction utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls and a torsion box internal layup. Used in racing skis as well as all the freeskiing models, this versatile, proven construction provides tremendous grip and stability when combined with the Sensorwood core.
Flex
Sensorwood Core is CNC milled using vertically laminated Poplar and Beech wood.
Powered by Titanium
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

Great skis. No problem with them at all. Great ski for testing out the powder, but can still chew up the groomed stuff without a problem.

Comments about Volkl Kendo Skis 2012:

Another great ski from Volkl. It seems like Volkl wrote the book on edge grip. These ski like a race ski with a tail. Super fun and great grip everywhere. This would make an excellent every day ski and can rip any type of condition you can throw at them.

These skies are one of the best. Volkl never lets me down. The skies feel like GS racing skies and perform extremely well. They carve well, have a good grip, and are super fun to ride. Definitely would recommend to buy these skies. You will not be let down

Comments about Volkl Kendo Skis 2012:

For those of you wanting a ski that really performs. Just feel the tail flex and the rebound springiness and you will k ow that you are in for the ride of your life. This is not the ski for kids who want to slip their way down to the next jump. The Kendo will work in any conditions on any retain and never let down a real skier who still understands how a ski works.

Comments about Volkl Kendo Skis 2012:

I read in ski mag that these are great east coast skies, and they certainly are that. They have the ability to ski the ice we see regularly, and carve on the groomers. The woods were terrible this winter so I didn't get to test them out in there, but I don't foresee them being anything less than the ideal east coast ski.

my biggest pros are the ability to carve on them, and how stiff they are. If you're an aggressive skier it's hard to go wrong with Volkls
