Volkl Attiva Tierra Skis + Marker iPT Emotion 11.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2010: Front, back, side to side, the Volkl Attiva Tierra Skis with the Marker iPT eMotion 11.0 TC Bindings have the versatility to go with grooves. The combination of an extended wood core and a double grip construction allows the flex and edge you need for those twisty turns and eMotion bindings feature a raised-toe for more power transmission. To top it all off, there’s the Bio-Logic concept system that combines stance, geometry and flex to create a revolutionary new ski for women and makes front or backside conditions nothing but a walk in the very snowy park.
- Core and Flex Pattern:The Volkl Attiva Fuego Skis emphasize strength and flexibility with an extended wood core that consists of two full-length wood cores along each side of the ski laminated to the bottom layer with titanium, yet still maintaining the soft flexibility found in the Attiva series.
- Construction:The Volkl Attiva Fuego Skis feature an extended double grip construction that utilizes dual longitudinal chambers with fiberglass layers inside to support the edges while still maintaining a clean balance between longitudinal and torsional flex. The added height extends from tip to tail, placing more material in support of the edges with a consistent pressure distribution that offers more control for a better performance.
- Bindings:The eMotion iPT bindings combine the ease of ski flex with power and sensitivity, building the binding interface into the ski body with a system that slides into position on the ski. The interface creates a rigid connection inside the ski that results in a better performance in any snow condition and the sides of the interface rest directly on top of the chambers of the extended double grip construction for direct energy transfer. The eMotion bindings are specific for women with a raised-toe that’s shorter and lighter in weight with a boosted power transmission for optimum flex.
- Bio-Logic Concept:The Volkl Attiva Tierra Skis are constructed with Volkl’s Bio-Logic system that focuses on flex, geometry, and stance: a slightly softer flex enhances the overall performance and comfort, a narrower sidecut shape in the tail features a specific, progressive design that has a tighter radius in the front of the ski for easier turns and a longer turn radius in the back, and a more neutral stance created by raising the toe of the binding results in better balance between the muscles in the front and rear of the legs. Basically, this system ensures that you have the best possible ride with the least possible wear and tear on your body.
