Volkl Attiva Sol Skis + Attiva 3Motion 10.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2011: Made for women looking to get out in all conditions and improve their skiing, the Volkl Attiva Sol Skis offer the Bio-Logic flex technology that gives you easy turn initiation, control and comfort. The Sensorwood core offers the performance you will need as your skiing does improve; flex works in synergy with the geometry and core of the skis for continued progression. The Volkl Attiva Sol Skis + Attiva 3Motion 10.0 TC Bindings offer a combination that is designed specifically for women’s skis, so fit and flex is just right.
Shape
Bio-Logic Geometry provides for the Bio-Logic sidecut shape that is more generous in the tip and narrower in the tail. The Volkl Attiva Sol Skis feature a progressive design that has a tighter radius in the front for easier turn initiation and longer radius toward the tail. The narrower tail allows the skier to finish the turn with less effort, allowing her to transition from one turn to the next with ease. This also reduces the load on the knees during the end of the turn.
Construction
The Volkl Attiva Sol Skis feature a Power Grip™ construction, which improves power delivery to the edge with a unique 3-Dimensional design. The segmented motion interface allows the ski to be shaped with more material supporting the edge, for better edge grip and smoother turns.
Bindings
3Motion 10.0TC Bindings takes a segmented interface and makes it possible to deliver better performance through more uniform ski flex under foot.
Core and Flex Pattern
The Sensorwood core is CNC milled using laminated poplar and beech wood for stability underfoot.
The Volkl Attiva Sol Skis feature Bio-Logic Flex which works in synergy with a new stance and geometry. It is stiffer in the front of the ski for quick turn initiation and softer in the tail for easy turn exit. The Bio-Logic flex enhances flex distribution and gives you ultimate control and comfort.

Comments about Volkl Attiva Sol Skis + Attiva 3Motion 10.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2011:

What a smooth ride with these Volkl Attiva Sol Skis. I felt very secure on these being only an intermediate skier. They handled well on the "man made snow" and can't wait to use them on the real stuff. On the down side---they seemed a bit heavy to carry compared to my old skis.
