The Volkl Adora Skis suit novice to intermediate skiers who want to improve their on-piste, frontside skiing abilities. This ski has the technology you want, where you want it, which translates to more fun on the mountain. And that's what we're all looking for, isn't it?
Tip Rocker An early rise tip designed for high performance all-mountain freeskiing. The combination of an early rise tip and a classic camber profile in the rest of the ski provides easy, smooth turn entry regardless of conditions. In softer snow the ski is incredibly forgiving, floats better and requires less energy to ride.
Progressive Flex The cross-section of the ski tapers towards the tail - from thicker edges to a thinner center. This translates into a more flexible rear section of the ski, which is particularly beneficial at the end of a turn. The ski accelerates less aggressively out of turns and supports a neutral stance to help prevent the skier from sitting in the proverbial "back seat". The effect is less effort for better turns.
Bio-Logic Geometry Bio-Logic sidecut shapes are wider in the tip and narrower in the tail than unisex skis, featuring a specific, progressive design that has a tighter turn radius in the front of the ski and a longer radius toward the tail. The narrower tail allows the skier to finish the turn with less effort, reducing the load on the knees. Rocker makes the overall ride smoother and more maneuverable regardless of snow conditions.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
