The AC50s relatively wide, 85mm chassis is incredibly nimble on hard snow.     Skiied one day on my new pair so far and all I could say was "I'm in love!" Super carving, light and nimble in the bumps and crud, and they seem to make me want to go even faster. Haven't had them in powder yet, but in the broken up snow in some steep trees, they were a breeze.

    I’ve demoed at least 6 different marks of skies this year. These are by far my favorite choice, closely followed by the Rossignol CX80. With the AC50 you can be styling on the groomers one second and tearing it up off piste the next. It’s incredibly nimble – I was shocked at how easy it took to moguls – carved through them like butter. For skiers that know how to ski, this ski rides.

      I would recommend them for any advanced/expert skier who skis New Jersey through Maine. The "Unlimited" is very stable on icy/groomed conditions and seems to sail through powder on the sides of the run. I went from a of 187 Salomon Xscream to a 170 in this ski and was very haapy. Marker bindings were very easy to install and adjust.

        This ski rocks. It is a great all mountain cruiser but fast to respond when you need it. Good in everything from Crud to pow. I have over 250 days on these puppies and they have held up well

        Great all mt ski - I replaced my AC40's that were 2 years old and ski'd out with these. They are faster, much better on hard snow and easier to turn then the old model. I ski 30+ days a season and will use these for everything other then powder days.

            Copper Mts Spaulding Bowl (Calendar Chute) with 1-2ft of POW with good-great float, Vail's (rolled) Riva Ridge for ripped arcs and Cow's face with 1-2ft with good-great float, on the same day... yet good-excellent in hard crust on Steamboat's Valley View early in the morning after a thaw-freeze.

              The skis are the best skis I have run on yet. Wheather in icy NW conditions or fresh pounder in canada they run true and smooth. Carving has been a fun packed time each time up this year...even though the snow has not been the best. I was a ski instrutor for 15 years and these by far are the best skis I have skied. The price was well worth it for the ski.
