Surface Watch Life Skis 2010

Surface Watch Life Skis – Sometimes the mountain can be tough, so you have to be tougher. The Surface Watch Life Skis are the all-mountain bad boys you need to face whatever rocks or crud come your way, with sturdy ABS Sidewall construction and thick edges for a ride that will make everyone else want to stop and watch.
Shape
The Surface Watch Life skis have a standard and sturdy camber shape that makes for smooth sailing on the slopes.
Construction
ABS Sidewall construction give these guys an extra dose of strength and durability, with a sintered base that promises ideal wax absorption. The thick 2.5mm edges give you the ability to think fast on your toes like you were born with it.
Flex
The stiffer flex in the Watch Life Skis make for some fantastic all mountain riding, and the tip-to-tail maple-poplar wood core ensure that these skis stay sturdy and durable with just enough flex to get the job done.
Binding Compatibility
Requires a binding brake width between 100mm and 110mm

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
    Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for skis offering skiers lots of edge hold, especially on harder snow. A cambered ski has a smooth arch underfoot and contact points near the tip and tail when unweighted. Camber skis excel at carving on hard snow; you won’t ever see a ski racer on anything other than cambered skis.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Partial Twin Tip
    Partial Twin Tip
Partial twin tip skis have a tail that is turned up, but not as much as the tip. This gives you the ability to ski backwards and back out of tight spaces, but these skis are mainly designed to ski forward.
  • Warranty: 1 Year
  • Tip Width (mm): 132
  • Waist Width (mm): 100
  • Tail Width (mm): 122
