Surface Live Life 2 Skis 2009: Everybody likes shredding pow, but not everyone approaches a powder day in the same way. Some like to make a lot of tight turns through the trees and some like to point it and slash everything in sight. One thing Surface takes pride in is the fact that they don’t discriminate between different riding styles – thus, the new 3-Stage Rocker Technology in the Live Life 2. This is a ski that understands (and encourages) the addictive feeling of floating through deep snow and lapping a wind-lipped gully until your legs can’t function. With a crisp, responsive feel that is unique to a Surface design, the Live Life 2 is dialed for the shredder who likes to sample a bit of everything the mountain has to offer, forwards or backwards.

      This is a good new ski from a good new brand!

      The staged rocker doesn't seem to be too different from the more "traditional" rocker. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing, considering how sweet rocker is!

          This ski is legit in the pow; buttering and slashing using the 3-stage rocker makes everything smooth and easy. Skis surprisingly well in the park and on hardpack. Versatile for sure.
