Surface L.A.E Skis (By Jeff Brown) 2010: Jeff Brown is an artist/photographer from the deep south of Alabama. He moved to Jackson Hole, WY a few years back to get a change of scenery and get into some mountains. Since then he's made the move to Utah and has picked up a knack for extremely detailed drawings and photography. The Surface LAE: Skis is Surface’s traditional 3 Stage Rocker shape and flex pattern, but with a splash of color from the Jeff Brown. Limited Artist Edition... limited means limited. - Shape:3 Stage Rocker Technology is just that… 3 stages of progression under your feet. Stage one is a continuous contact which makes the ski level through the bindings allowing you to hold an edge without catching one. Stage two rolls up into Stage three, the “flat spot” which is designed not only to float in the deep stuff but also offer a superior platform for the more progressive skiing.
