Product Info

Surface Anthony B Double Time Skis 2012: It’s not often that pro skiers get respect in all venues. Anthony Boronowski is one of those skiers – hitting the park and urban features with the same talent that he brings to the big mountain. For his park/jib ski Anthony wanted something a little wider this season so Surface stepped him up to the Surface Anthony B Double Time Skis. With a 90mm waist and super lightweight at just 7 ½ lbs for the 170cm model, these are easy to spin and lock onto rails. The graphic is strongly influenced by Anthony’s unique sense of style and will also turn heads!

Product Details

Shape

Traditional camber makes for substantial pop. Imitating car suspension, camber creates a very lively and poppy ride that continues to be a favorite for all-mountain riding. Camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the skis allowing for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail.

Directional taper shape

Catch free tip and tail profiles

Slight rise tip and tail when skis become weighted

Construction

ABS sidewall construction

Bunch Pop consists of biaxial and triaxial fiberglass braiding make for some large sweet spots that allow for massive amounts of pop without looping out and puting you on your backside before you even get off the ground. Bunch Pop allows for some good response and snap when terrain gets tight and turns become quicker.

2mm mini-cap

2.5mm Full wrap edge protection

Extruded base

Flex

Poplar wood core keeps weight down and pop up.

Carbon Stringers add better and more progressive flex to the tips and tails. They enhance pop and strength without sacrificing weight.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

Comments about Surface Anthony B Double Time Skis 2012:

These skis are a great park ski, but they don't keep you trapped on the rails and park. They are a bit heavy but they use that weight to charge through slush and carve hard when you open them up. They feel super stable on the bigger jumps.

Comments about Surface Anthony B Double Time Skis 2012:

I ski park all the time, Every day. I have been using them for about 2 months now and edges are starting to ripple. I will say they have lasted a lot longer than my Surface No Times. they are a blast to ride, pretty stiff, and great in the powder too!

Comments about Surface Anthony B Double Time Skis 2012:

Used this ski for the first time on a Mt. Hood Meadows storm rider day. This ski floated nicely and loaded up for great pop out of big powder tossing turns. Stayed sturdy in the steep and deep and made quick reaponsive turns in the trees. When I got out into the chunck along the side of groomers the ski was very sturdy and I had no worries pointing straight down and letting them rip. Great ski only thing is the top sheet is scrached up a bit and top edge is peeling a bit. Hope they hold up.
