If you want to spray huge amounts of pow with every turn, then the Scott Mega Dozer is the ski for you. The wide construction of the ski allows for superb flotation over deep pow, while the 3Dimension Sidecut gives you superior grip on hard snow pact. Keep rippin' up the backcountry with the Scott Mega Dozer Skis.
Rocker Type
Twin-Tip Rocker (M) - Rocker placed on both the tip (400 mm) and tail (300 mm) of the skis allows for maximum float when riding both forward and switch. The tail rocker also increases powder handling by increasing the amount of ski that digs into the snow which bring the tip of the ski up.
Sidecut
3Dimensional Sidecut - Provides improved edge control and power underfoot while adding stability and predictability to the ski. An improved pivot point adds to the playfulness of the ski.
Sidecut Radius - 15/25/14 m @ 175 cm, 16/30/15 m @ 185 cm
Sidewalls
SSCL Triax - SSCL Triax achieves torsional rigidity on wider skis delivering exceptionally strong and stable skis.

Edges
Freestyle Finish - A larger base edge angle of 1.6˚ makes the ski easier to spin and more forgiving on landings and rails.
Binding Compatibility
Bindings not included
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Specs

  • Terrain: Powder
    Powder
These skis are for the deep days. If you like to find powder stashes at your local resort, go on backcountry missions for the freshest of fresh or heli ski trips to BC, powder skis are what you need to stay afloat. Skis in the powder category are wide and most often have some form of rocker or early rise plus a relatively soft flex. Many powder skis today are versatile enough to handle mixed conditions and harder snow.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as will as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
  • Turning Radius: Short
    Short
< 16 m radius is best for carving.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Full Twin Tip
    Full Twin Tip
Desinged to allow you to ski backwards, full twin tips are found primarily on park & pipe skis and freestyle powder skis. More and more, we are seeing twin tips on all-mountain skis of all abilities, as it makes it a little easier to get around, and for the most part does not inhibit forward skiing.
