The Scott Luna Skis are the perfect choice for you hard charging ladies. Versatile and stable, the Luna can bust through all types of snow conditions without batting an eye. This ski has rocker in the tip to increase versatility in variable snow conditions, and two layers of Titanal make the Luna powerful and ready for anything the mountain has to offer.
Venturi-Tip Rocker S Combines a hollowed shape with a rockered tip. The resulting Venturi-Tip Rocker design effectively decreases the skis' surface pressure in deep snow, while Rocker allows the tip to be elevated to the surface, yielding a highly versatile performer in both deep snow and variable conditions.
Dual Radius Two radii create the shape of the ski instead of just one, resulting in a more versatile ski that is not confined to just one style of riding. A larger front radius provides great stability and forgiveness in all snow conditions.
Sandwich Sidewall Construction with Double Titanal The classic sandwich sidewall is paired with a titanal top and bottom sheet, providing exceptional power and rebound. The semi-cap finish protects the top sheet, guaranteeing maximum durability.
Women's Specific Design All Women's skis feature women's specific construction, meaning they are designed to be light and lively while meeting the levels of performance that serious women skiers demand.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
|Tip Width (mm)||124||126|
|Waist Width (mm)||84||85|
|Tail Width (mm)||114||116|
|Turning Radius (m)||12||14|

Comments about Scott Luna Skis - Women's 2014:
Bought these for my wife for her birthday. She used them last weekend for the first time.
I noticed the improvement in her form right away.
She was impressed with the way the skis finished the turn and held on the marginal snow/ice. She had no problems in the loose crud and piles they formed in between the patches of ice. She seemed to power right through without any problems.
She's a solid intermediate who jsut needs a little more confidence to progress. I'd say these Lunas will be the push she needed to move her sking to the next level.
We did a lot of research and picked the Lunas on the merit of the reviews, here and in publications. All things considered, it was the subdued graphics that sealed the deal.
Now if it would just snow again.
