Never above suspicion, the proven Salomon Suspect Skis are durable, high performance park and pipe skis with great all-mountain behavior. Featuring wide, reinforced edges, sandwich sidewalls, and a full woodcore from tip to tail, the Suspect is a progressive, unique park ski that is ready for anything you can throw at it.
Shape
Twin tip
Core
Full Wood Core - A wood core that runs from tip to tail offers optimum stability and powerful rebound, with maximum ski/snow contact and reduced vibration
Sidewalls
Sandwich Sidewalls - Provide a solid and precise edgehold on hard snow
Edges
Wider Edges - Thicker edges for increased durability and improved shock resistance
Total Edge Reinforcement - A fiber reinforcement is laid directly on the edges, improving edge stiffness, durability and grip.
Edge Armor - Innovation for durability, Edge Armor is an extremely strong polyurethane fiber cord linking the edges of the ski resulting in 25% less edge depression and 10% less edge wrenching.
Additional Features
Pulse Pad - This is an elastomer layer all along the edge and/or along the whole front part of the ski that provides shock absorption and anti-vibration on harder snow.
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

  • Terrain: Park & Pipe
    Park & Pipe
Park and pipe skis, often called freestyle skis, are for skiers who spend the majority of their time on jumps, rails, and jibs of all kinds. Traditionally park and pipe skis have narrower waists with full camber profiles, but this category is incorporating more rocker patterns and different shapes. You will almost always find these skis with twin tips as well as other park specific features like thicker, more durable edges, dense extruded bases, and butter zones.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Turning Radius: Medium
    Medium
17-22 m radius is best for all-mountain and park & pipe.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Full Twin Tip
    Full Twin Tip
Desinged to allow you to ski backwards, full twin tips are found primarily on park & pipe skis and freestyle powder skis. More and more, we are seeing twin tips on all-mountain skis of all abilities, as it makes it a little easier to get around, and for the most part does not inhibit forward skiing.
