For the past two years Salomon has made a huge mistake with the dumont pro model with the edge harmer and sidewall construction. So much of a mistake that Dumont himself refused to ride on them. He made salomon repress the new graphics on his old cap construction ski. This year they have finally gone back to a very similar design as the original. The only change is a thicker more durable base. This ski rips, fast base and good edges, it is at home on big jumps and pipe not the greatest for rails

Like most skis this ski was super forgiving. I think it's a little softer than the ski it replaced, The Dumont, but just as stable. I never felt like i was going too fast for the ski. Salomon skis are super fun lively and a blast to ski on. This was no different. Regardless of how fast you were going this ski will make any turn shape you want. Simply just push harder for a shorter turn and stomping landing... forget about it. The ski rode out of everything no matter how deep you took it. It is so easy and fun on this ski. A total no-brainer leaving your mind free to focus on nailing that double
