Comments about Salomon Czar Skis 2009:

Without a doubt the most fun ski I have eve used. Smooth, stable, floats through powder. Awesome in glades, great even on pack, turn on a dime, great for tricks. I thought I loved to ski before the Czar, now I can't stop thinking about skiing.

Comments about Salomon Czar Skis 2009:

Great skis for western corn and crud - float effortlessly and want to just go - if you want to bomb some pow or crud these skis are for you. On the groomers they are as serviceable as any rocker tip ski would be - a bit squirely but doable - bumps are doable as well you just have to work them hard. Overall, 9 out fo 10 and 10 of 10 for what they are made for: float

Comments about Salomon Czar Skis 2009:

Great all mountain ski, especially in powder, crud, or any type of loose snow. The rocker tip really helps float the ski. These skis are a bit stiffer and heavier than previous boards I've owned of equivalent size. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Czar.

Comments about Salomon Czar Skis 2009:

I read a demo article about this ski last year in a magazine. This ski was described as the ultimate Wasatch powder ski. So I bought this ski from evogear on the recommendation of a magazine article. I mounted up some Marker Freeride 12 Din bindings. This ski really shines with fresh powder. And I have an ear to ear grin in fresh powder with trees.
However these skis are not good in icy conditions, frozen crud, or groomers.
