Been a Volkl guy for ages, but these rock right out of the box. Used regular stiffness bands and skiis run straight, no sign of nervousness to high speed on hard pack, no wash out, stays the course, and little push back in bumps. Versatile carver and strong enough to make tight turns and rip into most anything.

These skis are not quite what I was after, they don't hold an edge on hard pack very well and the removable bars tend to rattle.
I find they chatter at speed very easily and don't instill a feeling of confidence and control on groomers if any speed is involved.
I do find them fun in 2 to 3 inches of new snow or windblown on groomers and they are reasonable in moderate powder. They are not the evolution of the Rossi Zenith 9's I was expecting and as such I will put these up for sale and try to find a more enjoyable "1 quiver" ski for all round, everyday use. Comments about Rossignol Zenith Z15 Mutix Skis + Rossignol Axial2 140 Ti Bindings 2009:

These skis performed well in typical spring conditions in Utah. Holding a good edge in the AM Ice and skiing well into the afternoon slush. Unfortunately no good powder to test in. They are heavy.

I have had opportunities to use these skis on very steep slopes, light powder, heavy powder, hard pack and medium sized muguls. With the flexibility of interchangable flex attachments, the skis performed well in all of the conditions described.

Comments about Rossignol Zenith Z15 Mutix Skis + Rossignol Axial2 140 Ti Bindings 2009:

Great Ski's and a lot of fun on groomed runs. Since they are a heavier ski they are a bit tougher in trees and back country powder. Great skis if you enjoy speed.

Comments about Rossignol Zenith Z15 Mutix Skis + Rossignol Axial2 140 Ti Bindings 2009:

I purchased these skis after skiing hard for many years on a pair of K2s. I LOVE the Z15s and have used them in Utah and Washington on several occasions for the last 2 seasons. Only thing is that they've scratched on the top more quickly than I'd like. I have some scratches on the bottom, but that's just my fault going over some light areas. I've skied for 20 years in all kinds of conditions in Utah and Washington, and I love these skis. Great for smooth ride, excellent control in all conditions, and they provided me with great control on icy snow as well. I'm able to get great speed and still maintain great control. Love these skis!

Comments about Rossignol Zenith Z15 Mutix Skis + Rossignol Axial2 140 Ti Bindings 2009:

These skis turn very easily and at 50 I am simply not as tired at 3PM after moguls and off piste type skiing as my older skis. The skis go everywhere nicely but are a bit heavy/inflexible for powder. I ran into a guy who owns a ski shop who likes them but didn't notice any difference with interchanging the arms. He did file down the tips a bit to prevent the ski from going its own direction but I didn't notice this.

Comments about Rossignol Zenith Z15 Mutix Skis + Rossignol Axial2 140 Ti Bindings 2009:

i have been experimenting with the power bars. I ski regularily on a small hill during the week and a large hill on weekends. I tend to take the power bars off the ski on the small hill and i can turn like a demon, very short controlled slalom turns, now when i get on the big hill, i put the bars back on and dig giant GS trenches with these things, I can definetly pinpoint my turns on the way back up the chair. I want another pair, just for display.
