Product Info

For ultimate all-mountain jib performance, hop on the Rossignol Slat Skis and spin, butter and switch it up from powder to the park and back again. A full twin tip with a 97 mm waist, the Slat is the perfect ski for a backcountry session, followed shortly thereafter by an evening rail jam in the terrain park. Cheers to that.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Auto Turn RockerFor all skiers looking for a more versatile, easier skiing experience in the broadest range of snow and terrain conditions. Camber underfoot delivers power, energy, and edge-grip for performance on groomed snow. Subtle rocker at the tip and tail delivers easy steering, easier carved turning, effortless speed control and maximum versatility in all terrain and snow types.

70% traditional camber underfoot

30% low rocker at the tip and tail

Sidecut

Extended SidecutSidecut continues beyond contact point where the tip and tail rocker start. As speeds and edge angles increase, more sidecut is engaged for powerful full-length edge grip. At lower speeds and edge angles the sidecut is less engaged for more maneuverability and ease.

Shape

Jib TipThis short, round shape reduces inertia on turns and jumps. Elastomer construction gives better pop and shock absorption. Pop, Control, Shock-absorption.

Core

Wood / Fiberglass

Sidewalls

Minicap SandwichThis is an ultra-durable construction built with wood cores, 30° sidewalls, fiberglass and high-tech laminates. Minicap strengthens the top of the ski, increasing durability. 30° inclined sidewalls improve swing weight and reduce the ski's overall weight, for better mobility and durability.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Comments about Rossignol Slat Skis 2014:

Rossignol skis always measure short. The 181 cm version of this actually measures out to be 178.3 cm.

Comments about Rossignol Slat Skis 2014:

This is the perfect all around ski. It doesn't get any better than a mid-fat waist, early rise rocker, and Rossignol's legendary construction.

If you've been looking for the one-ski-quiver, look no further. This ski can do everything. Sure, there are better pow skis, and better jib skis, but where those skis are specific, these skis are generalist. Highly recommended

I got the 181 but it measures more like 177/178 from tip to tail.

My only complaint are the graphics -- so lame. But hopefully they will scratch off. Either that or I'll have to dive into my sticker collection and save my dignity.

Awesome skis that look good and are perfect for downhill and powder. They are wide and gives you a good feeling on powder as well.
