Sometimes a small change can have a big impact, as is the case with the new scratch BC wrs. The BC has the same dimensions, and all the great characteristics of last years model, but lightened up with new weight reduction technology. The WRS is 16grams lighter per ski. The weight is saved in the tips and tails so swing weight changes dramatically. The result is a strong fat twin that slices and dices through the powder, and flies through the air with ease. As before the scratch BC is remarkably versatile. I used this ski all year long and it excelled every were I rode, from the park, to the Utah back country, to big lines in Alaska.
While the ski is lighter it keeps its stiffness, and is extremely durable. Bottom line is this ski rips and will carry everywhere you want to ride all year long.

i mounted the fritchis freeride plus on these boards, and i couldnt ask for a better setup. the first run i took, i layed a carve that was so deep, it compared to a carver snowboard. The next day was a 1 1/2 foot pow day...what a ride, these things are so stable, powerful, yet forgiving...all you have to do is smile, these skis do the rest! Day 3 i took a hike in the montana backcountry, and the weight of this ski is unreal...i forgot i had them on my pack. As soon as i droped in, I was in heaven...bottom line, i cant wait for the next edition of the "create-it" editions to appear...ENJOY!!!
