Rossignol S7 Pro Freeride Skis – Youth 2011: Built for younger skiers who need the same tech and design as the regular adult skis, the Rossignol S7 Pro Freeride Ski is the same ski as its adult counterpart, just a little smaller. The S7 is rockered out for easy turning and float in the pow, and its wood core is light and snappy for backcountry jibbing. Hit the off-trail terrain or stay on trail for some groomer runs, this ski can do it all, and do it well.

A layer of rubber in the tip and tail of the ski to absorb shocks and increase durability
Flex
Wood core provides ultimate response, feel, power and durability. Core is made from fume treated ash and poplar and is hand milled to the shape of the skis’ profile. Wood used in Rossignol skis is harvested by the factory from sustainable wood, grown in renewable tree farms.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
