Comments about Rossignol S5 Jib Skis 2011:

This is my favorite ski ever and that says a lot since I've been skiing for over 20 years now. They can carve huge GS turns all day and also rip in the park. I had Line Blends last year and they seemed dead compared to these. The mini-cap construction is super durable too, I've been skiing them for 3 months and no major chipping. The only thing you should know about these skis is that they are not great for buttering since they're a bit on the stiffer side but that's what makes them so responsive and poppy.

Comments about Rossignol S5 Jib Skis 2011:

I grew up skiing the east coast so groomed ice is no stranger. I was looking for a ski that could handle a good edge on the east coast ice, but still have enough width to take on trips out west not knowing if pow was in the forecast. The shape is perfect for holding an edge on ice or carving down fresh groomers. So far this ski has not let me down on both fronts considering the lack of snow so far this year.

I'm 5'11" and the 177's are perfect with 96 under foot. Anything bigger would make the east coast a little difficult on those icy days.

Great all mountain ski thus far.
