Rossignol S4 Pommier Skis 2010: The Rossignol S4 Pommier Skis eat the competition for lunch, whether skiing in rail jams, slope style or superpipe. The WRS concept makes it a super lightweight jib ski. The Rossignol S4 Pommier skis are Rossignol’s team approved pro model, for the riders who live and breathe park skiing. Don't be afraid to ski the rest of the mountain though – the Rossignol S4 Pommier Skis will tear up anything on the hill.

  • 20% All Mountain / 80% Jib. All mountain jibbers
  • Core and Flex Pattern:Wood Dualcore with Rossignol’s Weight Reducing System combines intelligent distribution of fibers in the ski structure to balance flex, reduce weight, with no loss to resistance.
  • Construction:Traditional Sandwich Construction creates a multilayer ski with greater torsional strength. Rossignol’s Rebound Tip technology adds ample shock-absorption and bombproof handling.
  • Shape:The S4 Pommier features Rossignol’s signature Rocking Chair Effect for better balance, firm contact on hardpack and high float in the powder // The S4 has three boot sole marks; one for all-mountain positioning, one for somebody who wants to spend a little time in the park, and one for a true centered park rat.

      I used these skis every day this season (09/10) they are the best all around ski in my opinion and wouldn't change a thing about them..the ONLY con i could maybe say about it was when there were 20in. pow days that might make them a little sluggish but i still had no real problems what so ever (still super smooth).. really great park ski, really controllable on those icy days, really smooth back-country, and carried a HELL of a lot of speed with all the control you need. i would buy these again and again for my everyday All Mountain use!

      - Perfect Flex Pattern across the ski itself
      - Amazing on Jibs/Rails/Boxes
      - No flaw in the ski other than the graphics/ they could use a longer pair than 181 ( these don't have any real impact however)

      The fiberglass crack on them the second day out in the terrain park. I sent them back to rossignol and they sent me a new pair.

      These are great skis. If I was buying skis again I would have went with something a little wider. Overall these skis have treated me well. They are fast and responsive. Great for skiing switch and fun in the glades.

      I'm 6'0 and 160 lbs. I got the 167's because I wanted something for the glades, moguls, going off jumps and skiing switch. I paired them with the Marker 12.0 piston binding which I mounted 3cm from center. The whole setup really performs well. They are a bit slower then my Rossignol RPM 90's and they chatter a lot more on the icy groomed trails of the east coast. On the other hand my RPM 90's are 10cm longer and weigh twice as much. Overall the S4 is a solid ski.

              First pair of these lasted me 5 runs.. no joke. However, in this short amount of time I felt totally at home in them and absolutely had to purchase another identical pair - which lasted the rest of the season and I assume they will continue at least part way threw next season.
              A little on the soft side, but stable at high speeds and are indeed a quick ski when kept in good working order (wax/sharpened).

              Would recommend this ski to anyone in freestyle/all mountain.
