Rossignol S3 Koopman Skis 2010: The 2010 Rossignol S3 Koopman Skis are two skis in one. When skiing powder, the directional sidecut is the dominant feature – perfect for slashing and buttering turns. On piste, the sidecut handles like a true twin in the park and landing switch. The S3 gives a whole new meaning to the one-ski-quiver. The S3 also makes a great backcountry alpine touring or tele ski. It is the perfect powder tool for backcountry skiers who love skiing the deep.
- 50% Backcountry / 50% Jib. All Mountain jibber
- Core and Flex Pattern:Wood with Rossignol’s Amptek Technology that combines early-rise tip and tail, camber underfoot, reverse sidecut in the tip and tail, and sidecut
- Construction:Traditional Sandwich Construction creates a multilayer ski with greater torsional strength.
- Shape:Rossignol’s new revolutionary Sigma Profile features standard sidecut underfoot for grip on hardpack with reverse, pin shape sidecut at the tip and tail for floatation in powder. This gives the ski a more slash-and-buttery feel.
