Comments about Rossignol Phantom SC80 Skis 2010:

I used the Rossi B2 for 4 years. The Phantom's are even more versital. They have more float and are still quick edge to edge in moguls. I have used them on ice and 3 feet of fresh, plain great all around.

Comments about Rossignol Phantom SC80 Skis 2010:

These skis have awesome control when you need it and really let loose when you want to fly down the hill! I hit a rock in the trees and got a little dent, but some wax should be able to fix it. I ski mostly on the east coast, so I needed skis that could handle all sorts of conditions from ice to powder, which these can. Can't imagine going back to my old skis.

Comments about Rossignol Phantom SC80 Skis 2010:

Got these skis half way thru this last season. Bottom line is they rip! Beg to be ridden hard, especially on groomers and light powder days. Don't float as much as the big boys in back country or big powder days, but overall they are incredible skis and Evo.com has a great deal offered. Buy them!

            Great Buy!

Since I live in West Virginia, I was looking for a good deal on a all-mountain ski. I purchased the ski just prior to Christmas as a present for MYSELF..... What a Buy!!! I have had it out for 7 days so far and have really had a lot of fun. We have received a lot of snow and as a result, I haven't had to take it out on ice but, for powder, corduroy, short and long radius turns, and moguls it has been great fun. When you put the "pedal to the metal" it responds favorably.

I ski out west a handful of times each winter and I would not hesitate to take it out there for pretty much all terrain (ski is true to what the manufacturer states)but, I would probably go with a specific powder ski when dealing with big dumps/cat/heli skiing.

Comments about Rossignol Phantom SC80 Skis 2010:

I got these skis as a replacement for my 176 Rossignol Bandits. I am 6'3 208lbs. The 176's were too small and at speed took a lot of effort to slow down. I got the Phantoms in a 185 and they are perfect. Still a very fun ski and very stable. Not as great at carving as the Bandits but a very good ski overall.

I received these for Christmas after I tested them in Deer Valley. I ski both in the East and the West so the conditions I ski are varied. These skis handle terrain changes with no problem at all. They float through powder and break through crud.

                Great ski
